kwsaint Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Did anyone see anyone dress up to stoke? Saw some bananas in the away end but not in the home end.
pingwing Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Fashion police rolled out and nipped that in the bud.
Crowds Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Few fat blokes in suits getting a lot of stick in itchen block one
shurlock Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 The matalan mafia was out in force in the Itchen - got a fair amount of stick from the stoke lot it seems. Saw one of the fat blokes rattling fences after the game.
alehouseboys Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Some 'crayons' in the Kingsland North. I kid you not.
Ziggy Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Some 'crayons' in the Kingsland North. I kid you not. Oh yes I saw them. Some were there with their kids as well!
SuperMikey Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Saw the crayons in the Kingsland North, about halfway up. Felt sorry for the poor f*ckers sat behind them! Not exactly a small costume.. Also the penguins in Block 1 were good lads, think they're the same bunch that dressed in tuxes at Cov last year. Met them briefly in the pub before and after the game. Nice guys.

They were in Tuxedos again, definitely not penguins!!! Hahaha
mcjwills Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 They were in Tuxedos again, definitely not penguins!!! Hahaha Tuxedos, were they American, Dinner Jacket in the UK old chap.
ant Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 The guys dressed to the nines in the Itchen stand have done it for several years on the final day. I believe it's to mark the death of one of their fathers? Something along those lines.
Badger Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Some 'crayons' in the Kingsland North. I kid you not. Is that what they were meant to be ? Why ? could just about understand it last year, but this ?
SuperMikey Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 They were in Tuxedos again, definitely not penguins!!! Hahaha People that wear tuxes are sometimes referred to as penguins. HTH
Saint_Donovan Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 The Crayons sit next to me and luckily not in front of me!! They were Teletubbies last year
Saint_clark Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 There was a mickey mouse there somewhere, saw him and Sammy nearly having a punch up on a video.
angelman Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 saw a couple of people in what I think were crocodile outfits.
Baldbarbarian Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 The "matalan mafia" dress is suits every year on the last day to mark the death of one of their friends. Fair play fo them.
Andre Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 Crayons in Kingsland, guys in suits in Itchen next to the away fans.
This Charming Man Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 The amount of crazy and zany fans was at a rather surprisingly low level on Sunday. Would appear that people are finally listening to me and Turkish and have come to realise what utter, utter mongs they look.
Turkish Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 The amount of crazy and zany fans was at a rather surprisingly low level on Sunday. Would appear that people are finally listening to me and Turkish and have come to realise what utter, utter mongs they look. I for one was pleased at the progress. I'm sure we can really push onto the next level now we've established ourselves as a none fancy dress wearing club and prehaps we can start to elimiate people wearing team shirts over hoodies and slowly start introducing designer gear.
red&white56 Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 There were a couple of monkeys, a crocodile and some other animal I couldn't figure out in block 16, Chapel stand.
Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 Captain America was in the Northam, Block 42 Yup, think I saw "him" there too. Was he with a Fraggle?
The Cat Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 prehaps we can start to elimiate people wearing team shirts over hoodies Once saw a bloke in the pub before a game wearing a hoodie. When his group of friends left for the ground he got a Saints shirt out of his pocket and put it on over his top. He's probably the sort who will get excited by the 10% megastore discount for season ticket holders.

So he knows what he's doing is wrong and won't be seen in a pub dressed like an imbecile, though what really bemuses me is then why he thinks it's acceptable to dress like that in a football ground. Absolutely baffling.
Yeti Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 There's no reason whatsoever for grown men to wear replica shirts to football, let alone fancy dress.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 There's no reason whatsoever for grown men to wear replica shirts to football, let alone fancy dress. Playas?
Daren W Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 The "matalan mafia" dress is suits every year on the last day to mark the death of one of their friends. Fair play fo them. Matalan mafia... I love that... The Stoke fans sang "Your suits from Matalan..." We sang, your gear's from poundland" back at them.. Cheeky northern monkeys..
Yeti Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 Playas? Players in fancy dress would look nearly as stupid as fans.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 Ah you are. I think I know who you are. Small world.
Daren W Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 Ah you are. I think I know who you are. Small world. I am... Now come on... play fair... Who are you?
Huffton Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 There's no reason whatsoever for grown men to wear replica shirts to football, let alone fancy dress. I wear mine just in case Fonte gets injured and we don't have a cb on the bench. You never know when the call might come.
paulwantsapint Posted 23 May, 2013 Posted 23 May, 2013 Saw some rugby lads dressed as footballers My mistake they were the stoke players
