Jimmy_D Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Oh for ****s sake. The best doctor my Gran ever had happened to be Muslim, that never made him do anything wrong. No belief system has a clean slate, ever heard of The Crusades? People that do this kind of crap will always find some justification for what they do. Religion, football, being looked at the wrong way, whatever. Their actions are at fault here. Not where they're from, their ethnic origin, or their beliefs. Any more posts along those lines will be infracted, they end here.
sfcuk fan Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 I don't give two hoots if you label me racist, anti islamic or whatever, people like this have no place in our society. Bring back hanging for scum like this !
um pahars Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 If there is any justice they should be locked up in a military prison. They will get beaten up every day for the rest of their lives. I don't think we shold allow ourselves to be dragged down in to their disgusting, vile and appalling gutter. These sick and misguided cowards want us to hate them and call for revenge. We need to show our moral fibre and not allow this.
Sour Mash Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Oh for ****s sake. The best doctor my Gran ever had happened to be Muslim, that never made him do anything wrong. Sour Mash Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Really? I thought it was more than obvious that I was turning your own comment back on you and suggesting that the racist and bigoted ones in this story are actually the guys who did the beheading. Surely you can see this? Exactly that.
Clunge Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 This is the sort of thing that will lead this country to civil war!

Jimmy_D Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Wow. Truly terrifying. Not just an example of Islamic fascism on display today it would appear. You really think it's ok to imply that all Muslims are like those nutters? That is terrifying.
Sour Mash Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 You really think it's ok to imply that all Muslims are like those nutters? That is terrifying. Not one person has said all muslims are like that. What exactly were you threatening to infract people over?
Turkish Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 So when he speaks of "our lands" he's referring to his Britain is he? On an amusing note, he appears to be wearing one of those vile Stone Island Beanie hats that Puncheon loves. He can expect a football ban as part of his sentence then.
Clunge Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 You really think it's ok to imply that all Muslims are like those nutters? That is terrifying. Quite terrifying you think these are the only 2! Read the news from around the world, not just England, clearly they are not!
um pahars Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Is it just me, or is giving these sickos airtime by playing that video (a) exactly what they wanted to achieve and (b) somewhat voyeuristic??
Jimmy_D Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Quite terrifying you think these are the only 2! Read the news from around the world, not just England, clearly they are not! Of course it's not just those two, but that in no way, shape or form justifies blaming this on a belief system.
The Majestic Channon Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 You really think it's ok to imply that all Muslims are like those nutters? That is terrifying. Where does anyone say that ? i can see why you are getting your knickers in a twist, never mind the trivial matter of a dead man hacked to death by islamic scum.

Turkish Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Where does anyone say that ? i can see why you are getting your knickers in a twist, never mind the trivial matter of a dead man hacked to death by islamic scum. Some people seem to be able to differentiate between Islamic extremists And Muslims.
Clunge Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Of course it's not just those two, but that in no way, shape or form justifies blaming this on a belief system. Not all Muslims should be tarnished with same brush but clearly those who are terrorists justify it by their beliefs, it's perfectly understandable why people jump to the wrong conclusions. Then again everyone has the right to have their own opinions on the matter, who's to say who is right or wrong.

chocco boxo Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Terrible terrible day for Britain. RIP to the deceased.
Jimmy_D Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 But if we're bringing in people from abroad who behave like this, then maybe it is an issue? Especially if their reason for behaving like this is that their culture and beliefs are at odds with ours. I bet, none of the people involved are British This is a logical point of view. It isn't racist to suggest foreign ideologies brought over by foreign people are to blame for terrorism and a certain type of gang crime. John Smith from Romsey isn't likely to go around beheading people in the street or promoting hate crime. Still we'd better not rush to judgement here. Don't normally agree with Sour but I do 100% on this one. We don't know the reason behind this yet, don't know where they are from. But it is being reported they were shouting "God is great" in Arabic. Now that isn't me condemning Muslims or Arab's it is suggesting there is a clear difference in our cultures and faiths. Some and most likely these guys are people who have been brainwashed into thinking they need to kill British people. Thinking they have to do it because whoever is teaching them makes them think by doing so = Going to heaven. As Sour alludes to maybe it is time we as a Nation of people decided enough is enough with this kind of thing? If these people want to kill British people then go back to the middle east, pick up arms and attack soldiers who are armed and can defend themselves. Not attack random civilians on the street who have done nothing towards them. It is not racist not xenophobic to suggest people who move to this country, live in this country must drop old beliefs from their previous countries IF those beliefs are of hate towards people in that country. That is what I will never understand about these hate clerics and ****ed off Arabs in London. They hate us with so much passion but yet they are happy to live in the country they hate and use all the services in that country. That always strikes me as being slightly ****ed up no? How many British people have beheaded someone for wearing a t-shirt they disagree with? And just because British people may have behaved like this in the past, doesn't mean we should be comfortable with importing people with such views? Have you been to Woolwich recently? Totally agree with above but don't forget we give them free housing and all the other benefits. Why go back to a dump of country with no freedom when you can spout off here, slag us off and we just put up with it. So when he speaks of "our lands" he's referring to his Britain is he? On an amusing note, he appears to be wearing one of those vile Stone Island Beanie hats that Puncheon loves. Sounds like another Muslim nutjob. These are the ones I'm particularly worried about. Bringing race, religion, or idealogy into these discussions is always dangerous ground.

Inevitably debates on immigration will be brought up following an incident like this. The Queen recently said in her speech she would like 'to welcome those who will contribute and turn away those who will not'. Calling for tighter immigration policy following an event like this is to be expected surely. Having lived in Sweden for the last year and not seen any evidence of crime or vandalism, I personally cannot help but think I wouldn't mind the UK taking a leaf out of their book with regards to who they allow into their country.
Crab Lungs Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 These are the ones I'm particularly worried about. Bringing race, religion, or idealogy into these discussions is always dangerous ground. Erm, I think you'll find the actual perpetrators of the crime brought that up... so people can surely justifiably talk about it, not be censored because you've got your knickers in a twist, surely?
Gemmel Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 These are the ones I'm particularly worried about. Bringing race, religion, or idealogy into these discussions is always dangerous ground. This is thought to be a terrorist attack, with the perpetrators believed to be Islamic extremists so the WHOLE discussion is based on Race, Religion and Ideology. You have made a bad call with the infractions, but I think we understand the sentiment. There will be opinions on this and every thread that some people cant agree with or find uncomfortable. The hardest and most uncomfortable debates are always on the more sensitive topics.
solentstars Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 These are the ones I'm particularly worried about. Bringing race, religion, or idealogy into these discussions is always dangerous ground.i agree i think some of the posters are displaying their own dangerous bigotry rather than the fact 2 British terrorists have hacked to death one of there own fellow citizens in a barbaric attack because of extremist ideology.
harvey Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 These are the ones I'm particularly worried about. Bringing race, religion, or idealogy into these discussions is always dangerous ground. The only one you should have an issue with was post 2 on your list which was speculative....the rest are just opinions, and not really wide of the mark either.
CB Fry Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Pretty obvious this was staged by the government, and all the participants are actors. Pap is busy at the moment so thought I'd start the ball (t)rolling.
um pahars Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Of course there are good Muslims. But until those good ones speak out and turn publicly, en masse, against those that seek to cause death and terror in the name of their religion then they are condoning their actions with their silence. Muslims from the local Somali community have already been at the murder scene to lay flowers, the Muslim Council of Britain have already issued a release condemning the acts of murder and Twitter and other social media are full of Muslims saying not in my name. http://www.mcb.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2333:pr-template&catid=40:press-release
Batman Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 i agree i think some of the posters are displaying their own dangerous bigotry rather than the fact 2 British terrorists have hacked to death one of there own fellow citizens in a barbaric attack because of extremist ideology. Quite chilling how a speech by farage would have you in a rage but this does not Says it all really UKIP all the way for me
Turkish Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 These are the ones I'm particularly worried about. Bringing race, religion, or idealogy into these discussions is always dangerous ground. It's impossible not to when its widely accepted they were Islamic extremists. What with Islam being a religion manly practised by a foreign race and all that.
Badger Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 This is why UKiP are sweeping in with popularity and having an influence on British politics This is disgusting. These people are probably happy to claim benefits, have a council flat, use the NHS and have free schooling. Make no mistake, if he is British by birth he is certainly not British by design Yet. The liberals will tell you to live and let live. Unless they are from Eaton or vote Tory. About time we stopped being so tolerant of Radical Islamists. Just look at the hilarity of that qatada fella Totally agree. Although the barbarity of this is shocking, no one can be really surprised by another terrorist 'attack' in Britain which comes from within one of the communities we have allowed to develop, funded no doubt by the good old taxpayer.

Sour Mash Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 These are the ones I'm particularly worried about. Bringing race, religion, or idealogy into these discussions is always dangerous ground. But this case is in all likelihood all about race, religion or ideology. If you do not want to engage in debate with other posters on this incident there are plenty of other threads to read and post on.
Jimmy_D Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Look, I know there's a line to tread here. It's obviously going to be discussed. But please, keep it to discussing THEIR actions, rather than any particular group they belong to's actions. Some posts were falling on the wrong side of that. That's the reason I'm replying like this instead of just issuing infractions, because I know it's a sensitive topic. Just try not to fall into 'Racist or Homophobic or Discriminatory remark' infraction territory.
Badger Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 These are the ones I'm particularly worried about. Bringing race, religion, or idealogy into these discussions is always dangerous ground. Probably the most significant motivating factors in the atrocity, so it is difficult, if not foolish to ignore them.

chocco boxo Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Not saying in anyway I would have but surprised a group or somebody did not attack or drive at that ****. That is worrying.

Batman Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 What is there to infract.? A debate about an horrific incident that happened ours ago in the name of Ismalic ideology??

um pahars Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 What is there to infract.? A debate about an horrific incident that happened ours ago in the name of Ismalic ideology?? Jihadi extremists are to Islam what the Ku Klux Klan is to Chrisianity.
Batman Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Jihadi extremists are to Islam what the Ku Klux Klan is to Chrisianity. And?
Sour Mash Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Jihadi extremists are to Islam what the Ku Klux Klan is to Chrisianity. Well I'd expect to see a similar thread the next time a member of the KKK hack to death a bloke for wearing the wrong t-shirt in South London in broad daylight. Until then.................
Jonnyboy Posted 22 May, 2013 Posted 22 May, 2013 Jihadi extremists are to Islam what the Ku Klux Klan is to Chrisianity. Exactly, throw into the mix the probability that they were very high on drugs (not a very muslim thing), possibily scizophrenic. What about the Bulgarian bloke who beheaded the English granny in broad daylight in Tenerife a few years back? A scizophrenic, religious extremist.
