How far is a long ball?

Do corners and goal kicks/punts count or is it just outfield balls?

What about long throw-ins.

So many questions, my brain hurts!

There is a big difference between an aimless hoof up the pitch and a good long pass either to the man or into space for someone to run onto. Something stats like this don't take into consideration.

TBF, If you haven't got the ball then you can't make a pass. I would say it's best to concentrate on % rather than how many.

I reckon percent possession is pretty meaningless. It's what you do with it. Game last year Chelsea beat someone by 5 something and40% possession. Get the all pass pass score stroll back to centre circle
