RIP Mick. 93 though, that means he must have been 55 for that 1975 fight with Catweazle (who I always wanted to win). Saw them both on the Royal Pier once when I was about 14, among the fake palm trees with a coke. Heady days :)

Wasn't he the guy that used to wear a white / green wrestling 'suit' that had shamrock's running up it ? Or is my memory playing tricks on me in my old age ...........

93 Wow (although according to wiki he was 87).

It never realised these guys were middle-aged/almost pensionable when they were throwing themselves around back in the 70s-80s. It may have been all fake, but their bodies still went through the ringer.

No, I remember it was very very light grey with some darker grey bits. So was his skin.

I met his cousin when I was a kid on holiday on the Isle of Wight.

 

Poor lady was the spitting image of him.
