Signing a new 3 year contract in March would suggest otherwise.

Moving into a coaching role and being a third choice keeper, you never know, might have been sentiment that got him a game ;)

I'm pretty sure we signed him for a continuity/coaching/club-captain type role.

I love him to bits but I would be seriously concerned if we had to rely on him in any sort of way next year.

He just seems to have grown old very very quickly, luckily he didn't have very much to do yesterday but he managed to screw up a lot of fairly straightforward kicking jobs and was very indecisive in possession.

I'd be surprised if he makes the PL again, surely the yank will be number two, and Gazza will go out to L1 to get a season's worth of playing time under his belt.

I haven't entirely given up on Gazza, he will be remembered for his rabbit-in-the-headlights job at QPR and his complete omnishambles v Norwich, which is a little harsh; he had some decent games before that.

Signing a contract until June 2016 would suggest otherwise...

You didn't need to edit in the picture, I didnt think you were making things up pal ;) Im just playing devils advocate and suggesting its not unreasonable to think he may not start another premiership game for saints ;)

That's merely a picture of them agreeing to wear the same watch from now on.

Probably mentioned his disciplinary issue earlier in the season.

No harm giving Kelvin a run out to be honest. Found it interesting that he got a guard of honour (sort of) in the behind the scenes video.

Assuming it was a knock, seeing as Gazzaniga was on the bench. No need to risk him in the final game of the season.

I thought he played very well personally. Seemed very assured and did well to get his body behind a few decent shots to collect them comfortably. Had no chance with the goal IMO, all round good game by Arthur.

To what match do you refer ??

He was rushed into the side. Look at Joe Hart- played more than double the amount of games Gazza played in L2, and still it took about 2 years and a few loan spells for him to get a comparable run of games at City.

He needs time to progress and build confidence.

I do think goalkeeping has a lot to do with confidence perhaps more then any other position with a keeper assured of his decisions will have more conviction and inspire trust in the defence.

Just for an example Bialkowski has had a pretty decent season at notts county, a good few clean sheets and has been well recieved I believe. Gazzaniga will hopefully go out on loan and progress, looks to have enough potential, and by heck aint he half tall!

The players gave KD a mini guard of honour as they came out for the lap of honour, its in the behind the scenes footage. Could be an acknowledgement that he will be at best third choice from now on.

spoke to my source - confirmed that Boruc was injured while carrying out disciplinary issues.

wasnt picked following the above + KD is leaving / moving to coaching role.

So was he injured or had he been a bad boy? That reads like he was "injured"

This is how I saw it as well. Lots of back slapping etc.
