whelk Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 You couldn't make it up. The Daily Mail are so good at brainwashing. Littlejohn is no doubt a visionary who tells it straight. Please tell me you also often say 'political correctness gone mad' as you swallow all the poison

KelvinsRightGlove Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 A) has no one noticed how often the daily mail have provocative articles on their website? Not just football related, but in general, often nasty opinion pieces from jan moir or whoever. Funny how it is also one of the most read online news sites in the world (wide web), meaning they can make massive bucks on ads. B) is this not about the third or fourth articles that fat idiot has written about Cortese in pretty similar tone. Agenda or not, and I don't think he is trying to destabilise us, I just think he dislikes NC. It's funny how he omits any of the achievements of spurs or saints under levy or Cortese, isn't it? I could be wrong on this,it's just a guess, but I would assume he was one of the media mugs howling for 'arry to get the England job 12 months ago. You know, a proper manager. He just smacks of being old fashioned and out of touch to me. Clearly has an opinion on NC and has written, yet another, one sided and pretty childish article about it. aintforever Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 "Yet it is very easy to be big-hearted Charlie with another man’s money. By acting like a manager, Southampton’s chairman only shines light on the real hero here: Katharina Liebherr." That part rings true.
edprice1984 Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 I don't care if Martin Samuels or any other 'Football writer' has an opinion about Cortese or Saints, I know my own mind and unless NC does something incredibly stupid (which unlike a few on here, I don't believe he has done) or no longer has the confidence of the Owners or staff/players at the club I will support him and be one of his biggest supporters. The only interesting thing is that we are now being written about in the National press on a regular basis and talked as an ambitious and successful club
NickG Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2327233/Nicola-Cortese-Txiki-Begiristain-Ferran-Soriano-seizing-moment-clubs--MARTIN-SAMUEL.html Bit of realism/truth spoken here? Think the bitter comment about informed sources summed it up. He clearly isn't happy that he isn't one
