Assuming our ambition is to be solidly in the top half, challenging for Europe. IMO: Definites: Boruc, Clyne, Shaw, Yoshida, Cork, Morgan, JRod, Puncheon, Lambert, S. Davis Undecided: Kelvin, Fonte, Forren, Lallana, Ramirez, JWP The rest I don't see as up to it. Would keep the 'undecided' players but they will need to up their performances next season. JWP obviously one for the future but I don't think he is there yet.

JWP obviously one for the future but I don't think he is there yet. I'd shift S Davis to "undecided" and Kelvin to "def" (as no. 2 keeper). I think Fonte is also leaning towards "def". Lallana is clearly a def (if he question really is CDAJFU?) Astori, if we nail it, is also a def for next year. (I accept he's not a current Saint, but should be soon)

kjurwi Posted 22 July, 2020 Posted 22 July, 2020 Bumping an very old tread. Who among all players in the youth teams or out on loan cdajfu. Guess Hesketh is out like Hoedt, Lemina and Elyonoussi. Reed is in. What about Sims, Slattery, Ramsey and who else?
S-Clarke Posted 22 July, 2020 Posted 22 July, 2020 I heard that Ralph didn't take a liking to Slatery's attitude, and he came back mega unfit or something. Think he's the big i am. Don't see much future for him here anymore. Sims will probably leave us, not good enough for us. Ramsey was/is quite highly thought of I think, although I don't think he's anywhere near the level we will need atm. I'd expect Hesketh to go.
