The9 Posted 19 May, 2013 Share Posted 19 May, 2013 I'm not complaining but I thought we weren't doing one off tributes any more and that is what ALL SAINTS DAY is for? Where was the tribute ? No silence held, black armbands is neither here nor there. Plus wasn't All Saints Day a Rupert innovation ?
Michelle Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 Have I missed something, but why were black armbands worn by Saints today? Who died? Could well have been Kevin Moore, that's what I thought at the game. Also could also be for Richard Chaplow, wife was 8 months pregnant and they sadly lost the baby this week. I've seen that was the reason for Lambert's "Teddy" t-shirt too.
Andre Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 Some silence for Kevin Moore would've been welcome. Has our club lost all humanity?

West Stand Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 Have I missed something, but why were black armbands worn by Saints today? Who died? Perhaps it was for the demise of the 'P' team down the M27!!! Then perhaps not.

VectisSaint Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 Where was the tribute ? No silence held, black armbands is neither here nor there. Plus wasn't All Saints Day a Rupert innovation ? I think it may have been an innovation of the Roman Catholic church in the 7th Century, but hey if Lowe wants to claim it fair enough.
70's Mike Posted 20 May, 2013 Share Posted 20 May, 2013 No, the club will hold it in November. imo totally wrong, we seem to be a community based club when it suits us, each should be remembered separately.
