Sh *t stirring by the media...

Well, there is one thing we have learned this week.

Turns out that using the media to get your own way, and feeding favoured journalists little snippets for them to work up into strategic sh* t stirring "crisis" stories to entrench your own position is now apparently a brilliant thing to do. Masterful, even.

Funny really, because reading this forum for the past three years I could have sworn that this was a simply awful thing to do, the kind of thing that Redknapp and Lying scum hacks did. You know, like, really bad.

So its fantastic that as a forum we now seem to appreciate the role journalists play in helping deliver positive outcomes.

Here's to celebrating sh* tstirring in all its forms over the summer.

What about if he organises a "fruitcakes who make stuff up on the internet" meet Timothy? Surely that would be right up your street?

and you apparently are somebody who stalks a fruitcake on the internet. Its such a better look.

The one thing I've learned this week is that if there's a situation in which none of us know any information, and there's no possible way we can find any out, we'll somehow still manage to get a thread to 10 pages thanks to a few people being convinced they know exactly what's going on and arguing that the opposite can't be possible.

CB Fry is highlighting that all human beings have an hypocrisy gene shocker :)

Its even simpler than that Trousers.... him and his reacharound buddy Turks seem to find it surprizing that 'fans' or supporters of a club will be critical of the media when presenting the club in a a negative light and speculating, yet less so when its portraying the club in a positive light... no sheet! ... the reality is simple WUM love

Not particulary impressed at Cortese intentionally putting this into the public domain for whatever reason. I thought he had a strict policy of keeping company business private (which was a good one IMO)?

Don't understand the timing either. Why not do it next week? I thought it was only dark forces that unsettled the club? If we lose the £5m game tomorrow will anyone ask if this stuff gave the players the perfect excused to take their eyes off the ball?
