The chap has been banned for repeatedly making comments that are supposedly perceived as offensive, yet he has near universal support on this poll. If people are so outraged by his remarks, how come people aren't voting a big no? That suggests that most people are not offended by the Bear. Most are either not arsed, or strongly in favour of our fallen comrade's antics. Can we get the catalogue of infractions, mods?

Given the amount of tripe posted on here, often abusive, which is rarely punished this harshly, The Bear was one of the few posters who would regularly lighten the atmosphere. Although given to occasional bouts of nonsense there were often gems of wisdom hidden within his eccentric ramblings. This place is poorer without him and given how poor it has become over the years that is some statement.
