Last week on the ferguson show on Sky - he described the 6-3 win over united as a 5-2 win and the game united changed their shirts from grey to blue.

 

Now my question following it how the hell does he forget a game he managed that badly and am I incredibly sad for still being annoyed by this.

I have to confess to getting the two games mixed up myself.

Not sure Souness ever saw Saints as anything else but a stepping stone to something else. Not sure why you would want to appoint a manager who was always looking around for something "bigger and better" that he would be off as soon as possible. Getting a 6-3 win and 3-1 all confused doesn't surprise me.

Unbelievable. How the f**k can he get them mixed up. Anyone see Souness and Hoddle in the Studio after the Chelsea v Spurs game last week? Hoddle came over ok, Souness could barely manage a coherent sentence and seemed completely out of touch from what is happening in the game.
