bungle Posted 4 December, 2008 Share Posted 4 December, 2008 “It is chaos at the moment because the traffic situation is really bad and customers are turning up expecting Lapland to be open. There are going to be a lot of disappointed people.” WTF. Have these people been on Mars for the last 3 or 4 days. How can this place still have customers? I visited lapland yesterday with my two children who are aged 6 and 9. we had a wonderfull time as did my friend and her 2 children. I cannot understand what all the controvesy was about as staff were friendly the atmosphere was lovely and there was plenty of snow and things for the children to do. As for the log cabins looking more like b&q sheds, what utter nonsense! Yes the original web site was a bit over the top but they rectified that along with the other things that people made complaints about. Why was the daily echo hell bent on only reporting the negatives about the park? Surely I my friend and our children cannot be the only ones who were happy with the experience. The people at the daily echo along with other journalists from the news and national papers should be ashamed of themselves because it is down to you that thousands of childeren are going to be dissapionted because the park has now shut down aswell as tens of people now having no christmas job. Is it any wonder that hardly anyone visited after your outlandish reports of fights breaking out etc. I hope you are all very pleased with yourselves. Could be a wind up, but very funny if true.... Weston Super Saint Posted 4 December, 2008 Share Posted 4 December, 2008 http://www.laplandnewforest.co.uk We have been having severe and very unusual technical problems with our server computer since Monday 1st December ... not with the website itself, but the machine we lease to host the website. All effort has/is being made to identify and correct this issue, but it has left us completely unable to communicate directly to all our customers and the many interested people who may have wished to view the website and receive clear truthful information. This bizarre machine fault has also suspended all online ticket booking and we can only thank you for your understanding during this extremely difficult time and apologise to you for any concern this 'silent' situation may have created. More Lols from their website.
