Next seasons final position

Would love - 6th (or higher), but this is realistic

Head says - 8th-10th

Ask me again after our dealings in the summer.

Then ask me again in October/November/December, and then ever bloody week during the last half of the season, and then we can start the nonsense all over again this time next year!

To be honest I still do not know where we are going to finish this season 17th or 10th! But I think 12th-14th. But please do ask me at half time next weekend. :)

I thought Wham have spent all their money ?

That's never stopped them gambling before. I think the other teams in that list are sensible enough to try and live within their means, whereas WHam will happily take a gamble and spend a decent amount whether it's sensible or not.

There's no way Man City will finish 6th! They'll probably win it next year, quite comfortably as well IMO. With Ferguson's retirment and Mancini's sacking, the pendulum has swung back again.

Who do we want to go down (from realistic candidates)? Obviously the first choice is "anyone but Saints". But assuming we end up safe, my first choice would be

WBA (those ****ers).

Next West Ham. Third choice Stoke (for conning us in taking Pulis Jr.)

Spurs (for selling us Forecast) would be nice, but not realistic.

They guy who said with some certainty that we are relegated today (before the game had finished, with one game to play, on the day we secured our place) dares to criticise a speculative thread about next season. Awesome hypocrisy.

Yes, of course. The relative tiime scales involved have absolutely no bearing on the validity of the prediction, do they
