Legod Third Coming Posted 6 May, 2013 Share Posted 6 May, 2013 Just watching the Premiership Years (93). Had forgotten how small our goals were (depth-wise). It's incredible that more goals weren't missed when the ball came back out. Why didn't the ground staff just make the nets slacker?? Good to watch these old games and remember the journey! Never dull with us is it?!

skintsaint Posted 6 May, 2013 Share Posted 6 May, 2013 Why didn't the ground staff just make the nets slacker?? Make it too slack and the ball would rifle into someones face instead behind the goal....hilarious as it would of been...!
Stud mark of doom Posted 6 May, 2013 Share Posted 6 May, 2013 I remember a Mark Hughes effort - in and out so quick I don't think anyone realised it was a goal until after the game.

Surely somebody in the crowd noticed the restart from the centre circle???
Legod Third Coming Posted 7 May, 2013 Author Share Posted 7 May, 2013 Surely somebody in the crowd noticed the restart from the centre circle??? No, ref didn't see it!!! We all did, well apart from the ref, linesmen and half their team (and a few of ours to be fair)...
