Saint Garrett Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Both teams look pretty poor, great to see Stoke winning, now just 65 minutes to hold out !!
shurlock Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Stoke are garbage - cant retain any kind of possession. Going to invite more and more pressure.
Dr Who? Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 I remember, when we played Sunderland in a similar situation, near the end of the season. It was the last game at Roker Park (under floodlights) and we won 0-1. Sunderland went down a couple of weeks later, and we stayed up.
S-Clarke Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 How pathetically bad is Mclean by the way? Would look out of his depth in L2.
DuncanRG Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 What the bloody hell's James McClean's playing at there?
Tokyo-Saint Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 nice to see sunderland fans getting on teams back so quickly yo. Early goal next week would be v.handy! You speak Geordie bear?
Ken Tone Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Sunderland must have the most predictable team in the premier league. There's just nothing to them. Just plain dull. You speak Geordie bear? Mackem, not Geordie
Dr Who? Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 If sunderland score, I have a feeling the roof is going to come off!

Webby Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 I think Clyne will give rose plenty to think about or at least stunt his forward runs.
Webby Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Sunderland seem to get men forward but only one gets in the box!
kpturner Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 What the bloody hell's James McClean's playing at there? Personally I would prefer not to criticise any of their players until after we play them. Why? 'Cos I am a bit superstitious about tempting fate
Tokyo-Saint Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Isn't that like Spain and Espania? I went on a Makoon or whatever stag do the other week. It was strange, they kept singing **** songs and taking off their shirts. Also wern't up for getting the stag much. Strange bunch. I don't speak Geordie so communication was difficult.

suewhistle Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Not long in from teaching and missed the goal, but C****t, both teams are crap.
DuncanRG Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Dodgy dodgy tackle that. If Sunday goes to form with our recent games (tight, tense, not too many chances) then a player like Gardner could have made the difference, taking pens and FKs etc. Lovely!
Batman Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Gardner off for the season he is a good player for them good news
Dr Who? Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 It is a dirty game.... Come on red cards! Took 2 minutes!
Olallana Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Red of course but I hate that those kind of reactions from the bench are allowed and that FA never fine or do something about it.....
Tokyo-Saint Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Ha! Was 2 mins behind and didn't know until that card.
Dr Who? Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Palo wants to get on that pitch and push the ref over, you can tell.
kpturner Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Red of course but I hate that those kind of reactions from the bench are allowed and that FA never fine or do something about it..... To be honest, I challenge anyone not to react if that happens right in front of you.

Call someone from Sunderland a Geordie, and you're going to get in an argument. They hate Geordies as much as we hate skates. Sunderland people are call mackems.
Dr Who? Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 what the hell was that fan doing? Not sure, seemed a little lost. One to many shandy's I expect.
Dr Who? Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 To be honest, I challenge anyone not to react if that happens right in front of you. Agreed, terrible challenge and was always going to be a straight red. Sunderland are losing the plot!
Olallana Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 To be honest, I challenge anyone not to react if that happens right in front of you. If it wasn´t allowed they wouldn´t in that manner. I agree but the whole bench, 10 people jumping up and screaming and waving arms is ridicolous IMO.
Dr Who? Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 So Sunderland have their best goalscorer injured, and now they are without 2 players for the game against us, that they must win! Hmmm
Tokyo-Saint Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Call someone from Sunderland a Geordie, and you're going to get in an argument. They hate Geordies as much as we hate skates. Sunderland people are call mackems. ****ing hell the match thread is boring. Yeah I know, as I said I want on a stag trip with a rugby team from Sunderland the other week. They know they are Geordies really, when the boat comes in.
DuncanRG Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Rose looks a decent left back He certainly is - don't be surprised if he enters the England equation ahead of Shaw for the next year or two, especially if he breaks into the first team back at Spurs.
Dr Who? Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 Rose looks a decent left back He is class, could do with a light twist of the ankle, just so he has to miss a game.
Batman Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 He certainly is - don't be surprised if he enters the England equation ahead of Shaw for the next year or two, especially if he breaks into the first team back at Spurs. Be surprised if he doesnt, that Ekotto looks suspect at times
Bearsy Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 i ideally wanted newcastles to go down cos it gives us ex-saints managers relegation hat-trick, but i spose sunderland would do if not. Either of the geordie clubs yo.
Webby Posted 6 May, 2013 Posted 6 May, 2013 No height up front for Sunderland. They're ****. Pooh then
