How did they help Pompey in the past? What are you on about?!

I think he's getting confused with when the Skates helped WBA to win last day of season when we went down last time (from the perm). If the ****ers lose to Narch next week though I'm with him in the WBA hating stakes though.

We will beat sunderland, then the fannies will finally shut up

If we beat Sunderland I promise to 'shut up' just like I promised to 'shut up' a couple of summers ago when I was told that the signing of Hooper from Celtic was a 'done deal' and that Wurzel would lead us to the top six.

Pochettino spouted a lot of big mouth things as GlasgowSaint said and everyone put on their pink colored specs and were blinded and taken in. The Pied Piper of Buenes Aires play his tune and all the innocent children follow

probably but more about the string of loaners they lent them. I think the player who scored their first goal against us last season was one.

Theres your answer..... Another stupid decision from Nicola "trust me" Cortese

You are a really boring and quite a sh1t wum. We dominated a team challenging for champions league who only managed to beat us in the dying minutes because the best player in the league scored. not sure what you have against our manager but you're a bit of an embarrassment and simple minded

Just back. Gutted as we were by far the better team, especially first half. Always on the cards as we didn't take our chances and you just knew Spurs would get a chance late on.

Cork and Davis were superb in midfield and Clyne and Shaw were very good as well. Kept their attackers very quiet.

Who? Genuine question, never realised there was this loan player connection. Fair play if there is.

Plus, of course, we would have gone down regardless of who won that match.

I havent given up, but yes, the team has far too many passengers, like Lallana.
You should try watching a game - then your view will be worth something. We dominated a team in the top four today and got mugged by a special player. There was no evidence of "being asleep". I was sitting with the Spurs fans, and the general consensus was the better team lost.

As I've said as well, we've been too busy talking about, and looking at next season - top six, top four, Italian International CB's - to concentrate on the simple matter of securing our place in this division for next season.

Too many have believed their own publicity, too soon.

Lots of possession but no end product....spurs were awful apart from the goal and their support is dreadful, probably one of the worst I've experienced for a long while.

Dirty stinking town full of immigrants.

What a horrid thing to say. Go back to the fing Stone Age you muppet.

Well, I thought Guly had a bloody good game.

Worried about SRL dropping off the boil.

TV here after the game analysis blamed MAYUKA for the Bale goal, They showed how when Bale moved inside Mayuka had the angle to have been able to close him down or even nick the ball off him, Mayuka stopped dead and watched

Which to us in the Pub was the main issue. Mayuka after 65 minutes instead of Puncheon.

Proud of the performance, IF we turn up and start the same way next week against Sunderland then no worries. IF we turn up a la WBA - very worried.

Oh and there is no truth in any of the rumours that the reason Bieber was 2 hours late for his gig here tonight was because he was with us watching the game and learning how to pull fit chicks in Barasti.

None at all.

Honest

Glad to hear North London is still the cesspit it always was.

Guessing we'd prefer a Stoke win Monday? Would effectively see them have nothing to play for against us and hopefully we'll be able to hold Sunderland to a draw next week before their final game at WHL.

Personally think Norwich will go down, anything other than a win against WBA next week and they're staring down the barrel.

Provided results go our way and Stoke and Swansea get a result, then there's no reason to panic until next Saturday.

If we loose at Sunderland and Norwich win vs. West Brom, then worry.

If Newcastle beat QPR, head for the barracks and at least panic in isolation.

It's "lose" not "loose" FFS!! I feel I am fighting a loosing battle here

Sunday, of course. Saturday is the Cup Final where hopefully half of Wigan get injured or red cards or both.

Who wanted a boring end to the season anyway?

We were excellent today, play like that at Sunderland and we'll win, easier said than done obviously.

Cork and Davis were superb today, as was Guly.

If you were looking at the 2 right backs today, you would have to say Clyne was better on todays show.

Support was superb today, best for ages.

Bale Bale Bale!! Tough game, Southampton got their game plan spot on, restricted our chances. But at this stage got to win by any means

I'm gutted as a 0-0 would have been fair and for them to nick it 1-0 was just sad.

We matched them easily first half, second they mixed it up and no one had many chances, Bale with his only moment in the game scored sadly to make the last two games harder for our selves.

Clyne and Davis joint MOTM as both easily took the SORT IT OUT to heart and played out of their skins for 90 mins.

Play like that against Sunderland and Stoke and we'll get the 6 points we crave no problem.

Strange analogy - but Lambert did seem to be playing as a rather slow winger at times.

I was talking about him the other day and that, for me we miss someone like Benteke, Lukaku or Michu. If you really want Lambert to sit as deep as he does then play him in midfield and play someone else upfront to get on the end of things. What exactly is the point of a striker who is rarely in the box ?
