Bananaman Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Seeing that live table, and remembering past seasons over a period of, well, forever! I wonder about the age of posters thinking that we are in an actual relegation fight. ...
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Football is a cruel game...we do not deserve to lose this... But top sides win when it counts but i will not whinge and whine like a spoilt child as some will..
Jonnyboy Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Gotta say. Seemed very risky to bring on two attacking players as our subs. Guly was a big loss.
Ohio Saint Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 We might as well go for it now. Chuck everyone forward. Losing 2-0 isn't going to make much difference. Problem is, we were already going for it.
SNSUN Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Last minute Guly equaliser? From the bench? That'd be impressive. Typical Saints doing it the hard way. To be fair though, this was a free shot and we've played well. Still safe, but we need something from the last two games to do it confidently. Still wish Wigan would bugger off though.
USaint Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Didn't think I'd say this but we've become a mess since Guly went off
Ohio Saint Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 What the heck, I'm pleased with our effort. It was one of those games. No real problems.
VectisSaint Posted 4 May, 2013 Author Posted 4 May, 2013 Jeez look at the table....we are right in it now boys. Safe.....like **** we are ! Could be a lot worse if Sunderland win tomorrow and Wigan win on Tuesday, neither of which is that improbable. We could well be seeking help from Saggy Chops against CastilleNouveau.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 What the heck, I'm pleased with our effort. It was one of those games. No real problems. This...
Dalek2003 Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 I'm not even going to dignify this with a proper response. I don't think you have quite grasped what I have said. We have to be overtaken not just by Wigan but by every other team below us. Do you actually enjoy supporting Saints? I mean really? It can't be pleasant with such constant overwhelming pessimism! Yes we have to be overtaken by a massive 4 teams, 2 of which have a game in hand.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 FFS it seems some will actually be pleased if we go down...w an kers
Minsk Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Last minute Guly equaliser? Doubt it, he went off injured
VectisSaint Posted 4 May, 2013 Author Posted 4 May, 2013 Come on Saints - get a goal FFS!... 3 games, no goals, yet people still think we are safe.
mulletsaint Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 What the heck, I'm pleased with our effort. It was one of those games. No real problems. Apart from Villa and Wigan. Still safe?
skintsaint Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Yes we have to be overtaken by a massive 4 teams, 2 of which have a game in hand. would you rather be in our shoes or theirs?
Dalek2003 Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 FFS it seems some will actually be pleased if we go down...w an kers Quite the opposite. Just been saying in the last 4 weeks it was far from over.
Bananaman Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 all the turds on here giving it large, calling the realists pussy's etc look stupid now.. we were never 'safe' at any point..
James Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Yes we have to be overtaken by a massive 4 teams, 2 of which have a game in hand. You remember that there are a mere 2 games left yes? Also one of these fearsome ge in hands for Sunderland is against a team also below us. It's a win win that one. I hope that, if we do go down, you gain immense pleasure from telling us all that you told us so...tit.
VectisSaint Posted 4 May, 2013 Author Posted 4 May, 2013 Adam Lallana is an inspirational captain. Odd comment when he is not even on the pitch
Saint Scott Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Let's be honest. A point would of been a great achievement considering spurs aspirations for a top four finish. Sunderland and stoke to go. Can't see us picking up 0 points from those 2 games.
Legod Third Coming Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Did nobody bother telling Shaw that Bale was left footed then?
Dalek2003 Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 You remember that there are a mere 2 games left yes? Also one of these fearsome ge in hands for Sunderland is against a team also below us. It's a win win that one. I hope that, if we do go down, you gain immense pleasure from telling us all that you told us so...tit. If we go down I will be sick, but that doesn't change the fact that there was an astonishing complacency on thi site.
JoeShmoe Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Where was the response? We're right in it as are 3 or 4 other teams Scoring again would help... SRLs Midas touch has gone
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 That has t go down as one of the most undeserved defeat ever... Still the cry baby/going down brigade will be loving it...
Micky Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Gutted but not really too surprised to be quite honest. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
JoeShmoe Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Oh well, 2 games left , well find out if Poch can do what Martinez and Lambert have done, inspired their teams
jupu Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Very decent of Bale not to celebrate his goal against his former club. At least not more than 5 minutes.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 If we go down I will be sick, but that doesn't change the fact that there was an astonishing complacency on thi site. Sorry but don`t believe you...you have been predicting/wishing bad results all season...
Chez Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Adam Lallana is an inspirational captain. you're an inspirational poster
VectisSaint Posted 4 May, 2013 Author Posted 4 May, 2013 You remember that there are a mere 2 games left yes? Also one of these fearsome ge in hands for Sunderland is against a team also below us. It's a win win that one. Who would that be then? Think you'll find Stoke are above us. We only have 2 left but both Sunderland and Wigan have 3 left. I think before you accuse others of being a tit you should check your facts and maybe just consider that things are not as rosy as you think and not as good as we all thought we would be 3 weeks ago. Of course if Sunderland capitulate again tomorrow like they did against Villa then it may be a bit better, but football's not like that. Wasn't expecting anything today, but it would have been a whole lot better if the Baggies had done their bit.
Ken Tone Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 You remember that there are a mere 2 games left yes? Also one of these fearsome ge in hands for Sunderland is against a team also below us. It's a win win that one. I hope that, if we do go down, you gain immense pleasure from telling us all that you told us so...tit. which game is that then?
Batman Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Very decent of Bale not to celebrate his goal against his former club. At least not more than 5 minutes. why shouldnt he not cheer. Why has that become all the rage he left us years ago and showed some respect at SMS. why should he not cheer when he scores a goal like that in the last few mins
warsash saint Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 Did nobody bother telling Shaw that Bale was left footed then? Jeeezz. Like Shaw could any closer!!!!
Jonnyboy Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 The sooner bale fooks off to la liga, the better Thing is, if he hadn't scored, he would be.
Guan 2.0 Posted 4 May, 2013 Posted 4 May, 2013 you're an inspirational poster I just follow your awesome example . And let's not gloss over his dreadful performances of late.

Wasn't expecting anything today, but it would have been a whole lot better if the Baggies had done their bit. Apologies my mistake I forgot that Stoke are a whole point ahead..if we could get caught then they easily could too. I never said I thought things were rosy (perhaps you should read what I said before making such assumption). My calling Dalek a tit referred to his constant need to tell the entire site that we were definitely going down, Wigan definitely going to catch us etc. Christ, the way some talk on here you'd think we were in Wigans position.
