View From The Top Posted 4 May, 2013 Share Posted 4 May, 2013 Having a pint last night and a couple of my Wolves mates were ripping it out of another of our friends as they knew he'd be bubbling if they (Wolves) go down later today. Got us onto the general conversation about crying, masculinity and the last time we blubbed, which ranged form the usual births/deaths/goals/wins to pride at watching your child. Last time I blubbed was at the British War Cemetery in Berlin, when reading the epitaphs on some of the headstones. Cried like a baby for a good 5 mins! So, TSW, when did you last blub or is that something you don't do?

Tears of Laughter at Nicki Minaj & Maria doing the fake Diva Luvvie like they gave a sh1t routine. Seriously proper crying? View From The Top Posted 4 May, 2013 Author Share Posted 4 May, 2013 "Will some kind hand in this foreign land place a flower on my son's grave" That's the sort of thing. Wept openly and uncontrollably for 5mins. I think, as a dad, looking at some of the tender ages of the bomber crews buried there, it made it even more heartbreaking. I did meet one of the last of the few who told me that they really did not know that they would be alive the next day. As a result they drank and drank running up enormous tabs in the local pubs. When Churchill gave his famous speech never has so much been owed by so many to so few. All the pubs had signs up locally saying never had so much been owed by so few to so many. SuperMikey Posted 4 May, 2013 Share Posted 4 May, 2013 Reading through this thread I feel a bit bad to say the last time I cried was when we went 2-1 up against Man City in the first game of the season! Such a huge moment though, to be beating the Champions at their place after all the sh!t our club had been through over the past 5 years was incredible. so22saint Posted 5 May, 2013 Share Posted 5 May, 2013 Several times recently, I have just lost my mother. Same as me last Jan - know how hard it is - thoughts are with you. Last time I cried was around Christmas as it was the first one without her around. I don't buy all the masculinity crap - I barely ever cry (cried once during the whole thing at the funeral) as I hate it, but I also feel emotionally stunted therefore rather than "strong" or whatever

Swansea_Saint Posted 5 May, 2013 Share Posted 5 May, 2013 I started to well up a bit yesterday actually. My daughter has started to crawl and she looked so chuffed with herself, very proud of her. She spent her first 5 weeks in intensive care after having surgery when she was 12 hours old and it was touch and go for a little bit. Thinking back to those moments and where she is now made me cry. Dimond Geezer Posted 5 May, 2013 Share Posted 5 May, 2013 My son's hamster died about a year ago. As I was digging the grave, my son was sat on the garden bench behind me, I looked round & he's sat sobbing. I went to give him a cuddle & started myself.
