ART Posted 30 April, 2013 Share Posted 30 April, 2013 Six years ago today, 23 years old French singer Gregory Lemarchal passed away awaiting a life saving lung transplant. Sadly no donor had been found. In his short life Gregory fought Cystic Fibrosis from birth, overcoming impossibilities and achieving beyond all expectations, rising to the top of the music industry in Europe. Gregory didn't die in vain and his music and beautiful voice and recordings lives on, bringing awareness, with all proceeds going towards research to find a cure for this tragic illness that effects the lives of many children and young people. On this anniversary of his death I ask you to make yourself aware of what Cystic Fibrosis entails. Locally you can support Southampton General Hospitals Special Cystic Fibrosis Ward and B]Southampton University Hospital's Special C/F/ Research unit[/b]. Donors are urgently needed so please think of enlisting and perhaps some day you or a family member may be saving a life. JonnyLove Posted 30 April, 2013 Share Posted 30 April, 2013 I'm actually doing a number of bike rides this year including the Ride London 100 (I'm a little out of shape so this is going to be one tough test) for the CF Trust (having had a very close relationship with CF in my life). So if anyone fancies sponsoring me I'd be very grateful. http://www.justgiving.com/jonathanredsell Thanks. Jonny

Jonny I am full of admiration for your support and hope there will be plenty of posters sand Saints fans, who will back you and publicise your fantastic jest for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Over the past 6 years, posters of Saintsweb have excelled themselves.

ART Posted 30 April, 2013 Author Share Posted 30 April, 2013 An incredible live performance of Gregory singing live at DOLCE ITALIA, showing despite Cystic Fibrosis, where there is a will, overcoming the greatest of difficulties is possible. ART Posted 9 May, 2013 Author Share Posted 9 May, 2013 I cannot say how proud I am to read that Saint's player Danny Fox will be playing and supporting Cystic Fibrosis. Well done that man. I might say, elesewhere Luke Shaw whom I've followed since he joined Twitter couldn't even retweet my Cystic Fibrosis Appeal Tweet. Guess he's more interested in Collo-Rectal health. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/10410463._/
