Excellent bit of fakery. You can see a quality change from real life to computer graphic. It's extremely well done though, and hats off to the people who did it. They have a future in computer animation, IMO.

Spotted that as a fake straight away.

 

1. Watch the pilot's head as he lands. Absolutely still. In real life, he'd be thrown all over the place.

 

2. There is no shaddow on the airframe, in particular under the horizontal stabaliser.

And the fact it's a different airplane. The flying one is longer in the nose, the wheels are different and the propellor spinner is different.

 

But good effort all the same!

I spotted how much trouble the cameraman was having even keeping the plane in shot during flight but then the crop around the landed plane was perfect as it taxied.
