Elias Posted 28 April, 2013 Share Posted 28 April, 2013 Skates, Stokies, Cardiff, Millwall, Chelsea, Everton, West Ham and Geordies all have pretty good home and away atmospheres. You didn't go to Newcastle this season did you? Absolute library and it was a cracking game.

Saint137 Posted 28 April, 2013 Share Posted 28 April, 2013 Remember West Brom being very loud last time we played them at SMS. Championship with Jesus' waist high tackle? Free travel undoubtedly helped plus the fact that Wolves went 2-0 down early on (and they were totally bossing us). Completely outsung just as the team completely outplayed us. Barry Sanchez Posted 28 April, 2013 Share Posted 28 April, 2013 Is that a problem really? Is there some rule or code of conduct that forbids any human being of going to a football game? Should someone who owns a business have football websites and TV shows blocked? You have some very thick and ignorant complexes in your mind, sort it out. I have stated that since we have moved our support has gone more plummy and in turn the atmosphere has diminished, nothing controversial there at all. whelk Posted 28 April, 2013 Share Posted 28 April, 2013 Why would any middle class non-singing JCL want sit in the Northam with the plebs? Singing is uncool. We all want a great atmosphere but does anyone want to sing all games ESP as moronic songs about guns etc. A slow oh when the saints and Coyr at corners is my limit. Yes but you mustn't forget that we have moved from a 15,000 seater box to a modern 32,000 stadium. Our core support wasn't going to double its figures. The9 Posted 28 April, 2013 Share Posted 28 April, 2013 Dare I say it but with all these JCLs in the Northam it isn't what it was. Everyonee seems to think on this forum that ST holders on the epiphany of saint supporters but it's not true. I'm not saying that every ST holder doesnt sing but can you deny that the atmosphere last year was so much better? Funnily enough my mate who was in the Itchen yesterday and is normally an ST holder in the Northam commented on how loud the Northam sounded yesterday - none of us in there were particularly impressed... thought West Brom were very loud even before they went in front though. As someone who has supported Saints for well in excess of 50 years (started probably 35 years before you were born), I sincerely hope that this post is meant as some pathetic attempt at humour. I think a stiffly written letter to Messers Cortese and request unless fans can show earnings of 30k or a birth / wedding certificate to a high earner they should be banned from the ground, as us upper class fans don't want to be close to bloody oiks like aintforever and that Sanchez fellow.
