Everyone banging on about his fitness - The other day Morgan said when he first arrived he always felt knackered after 50 minutes. Look at him now.

Lets see next season, I still think he's class.

The Gash was £12 million though., why buy a luxury player who either can't last the full 90 as he is either lazy, unfit and not bothered or playing crap?

Why use "The Gash" in your dumb posts? I guess you think it's funny I think it proves you're a ***** who doesn't know what he's talking about.....

Villa at home in the second half he was as good as any player I've ever seen at SMS. Everton at home until he got injured he wasn't far short if that. Those two games stand out head and shoulders above the rest. He's been equally poor in other games, but for me he is a class act and given more time will shine for us. He has tremendous talent. He also has great pace when dribbling and a decent shot on his left foot, although it's not been on the money nearly enough. No idea why fans seem so desperate to write him off. Perhaps they have just become frustrated by his **** corners? Forget the transfer fee and wages chaps.

I'm still more than happy with his transfer, there is massive potential there and if it clicks we might have another genius on our hands. Fingers crossed.

Barry, whats with your constant ramirez witch hunt? You claim to be a saints supporter try actually supporting and cut the lad some slack.

Ramirez season has been a bit stop start due to injuries and fitness but he has shown signs of a top top player.

To be honest i dont think he is working as well under pochetino as he did adkins either , poch seems to prefer davies or playing gaston out on the right where he looks less effective, his most impressive games came when he was playing in the hole.

I think we should get off his back and see how he looks after getting a full pre season with us i think next year he could be a real star

He's had a relatively poor season but it's madness to write him off. Young players from other countries do struggle to settle in sometimes - players like Coutinho are the exception rather than the rule. It's no coincidence that a player coming from Italy plays best in the games where he's given space to run into, eg Arsenal or Villa at home. He's struggled to deal with how quickly defenders are on him in the Premier League but I think he'll get there.

Besides, it's not like we're insisting on starting him anymore - he's been on the bench more often than not in the last few months.

Lets be real here though , things might not be going great for him at the moment .

But you can see he has so many top attributes to his game surely? First touch, flair, a belting left foot dribbling skills, strength on the ball, i can see all these attributes in gaston big time . I think he could be a really special talent we just need to nurture him and use him to his strengths, ie in behind the striker.

Why does he take sheite corners and free kicks if he's got such a belting left foot.

Why does he keep giving the ball away if he's got such great dribbling skills.

He had got a decent first touch and loads of skill, but so has Mr woo. I personally don't think he's got the mental strength or desire to impose himself on the English game. I hope im proved wrong and its not a witchhunt. Just my opinion of our record signing.

These things happen with young players - they improve. If we're here this time next season and he's performed at the same level with no signs of improvement then we might want to think about moving him on.

we can hope we'll see a better side of Gaston next season, but his first season in the red-and-white (sorry red with tiny white-stripes) has been a highly forgettable one.

There has been a few " flashes of magic " in some games, but he has rarely played a full 90 mins. and has often been subbed whenever he has started.

If we were expecting a lot for the club's money, it hasn't emerged - so far ...and he hasn't won too many Man-of-the-Match awards, either. Let's hope for greater things next season.
