Smirking_Saint Posted 27 April, 2013 Share Posted 27 April, 2013 Probably will play better with better players around him. Has pace, vision and touch. Certainly looks like a player from what I have seen of him. Just struggling ATM Still what do I know, apart from links to the game I stupidly said that Maya, Morgan and J Rod were decent when everyone else were ready to dump them

Its really not I remember Incey falling out and having to be calmed down on the Wolves training ground. The reason ? His passes were not being read by those around him. Its a simple thing, creative players need those around them to understand the game. But you stick with the motors Dune me old mucker

Could also be that Lallana knows league (even though he hasn't played in it before this season) and can't cut it at 25, and Ramirez is just 22 needs to adjust and get experience and will be better next season. Ill put my hand up and say he hasnt delivered yeah. That said, he excites me when he comes on and seems to be a player that genuinely COULD make something happen. But it hasnt really worked for him this year. That said is it really time to dump him and get on his back ? Cos that what this is really about right ? Not to debate but to stir it up ? Ramirez if as stated will only play better with better quality then who are we going to play around him? We have never bought a player and then bought a team around him and we have never had that money and also never a player that good, but we have had far far far better players at our club than Gaston Ramirez so that should give you a clue. Le tiss played with far worse and scored 30 goals and around that for many years. Actually he scored 30 goals in a season once. (And did take all penaltys) He had 3 other seasons with 20+ goals but usually it was around 15 goals per season. Of course still tremendous but if you wanna come with some sort of "facts" they should at least be close to beng correct...

The Kraken Posted 27 April, 2013 Share Posted 27 April, 2013 Just watching MOTD, and noticed Coutinho. 20 years old. Just arrived from Italy after moving there from South America. £10M plus price tag. He looks superb. Absolutely superb. No "well, he might come good next season" from Liverpool fans. This lad is younger and cheaper than Ramirez, and he only arrived here in January. That's the impact a young, talented skillful player should have in this league. S-Clarke Posted 27 April, 2013 Share Posted 27 April, 2013 the 2 games that stand out were Villa and Newcastle at home, other than those 2 games he has been a complete disappointment. I don't think I'm alone in that I seriously want him to be a major success for us and I was hoping we'd be a match made in heaven, but somethings not quite right and I just can't see him ever playing for us again. I may be wrong, but I just don't think he fits here for whatever reason. You get that with players sometimes, no matter how talented they supposedly are.
