Upgrading tickets

Got two tickets for the Stoke match, but we'll have to upgrade one of them. Will this cause any problem?

Such as student to Adult etc? Dont imagine it'd be an issue.

 

Option one speak to the ticket office and explain, option two do nothing and just scan through the automated barriers.

I heard that Cortese was going to charge more for the seats on the aisle, 'exit seats' i.e. more legroom and a better and quicker exit experience.

If you are thinking about upgrading from a concession ticket to a full price one then I strongly suggest you do actually sort this out with the ticket office ASAP. Whatever you do don't just leave it and trust to luck at the turnstile because there is a 'traffic light' system in operation behind the gates that allows SFC staff to see exactly what type of ticket each person enters on.

You can do it on matchday if that's easier, although obviously the later you get there the longer it'll take to queue. I've been with a group where one had to upgrade from a kids ticket to a full adult and had no problems. Can't imagine policy will have changed as I'm sure the club would prefer you to pay more!

I wouldn't bother if I were you. Just scan it as normal and stroll on in. Worst case scenario if caught is play the fool and pop round the ticket office to upgrade.

Where do they stand on upgrading Season tickets, as they're not meant to be transferable. I know it's a long way off, but I'm away for the first game of the season.If it's a home game my older boy (23) could use my nippers (14) S/T. Do they allow that?

Again, don't bother. Just scan and stroll in.

Season Ticket upgrade they do that regularly at the TO, then they post your season ticket back to you to prevent you using it, seems they cant disable the ticket ! modern technology pah

 

Yes the lights do work and yes I've seen people sent back out when trying to scam the turnstile, never quite understood why the stewards occasionally check the tickets for the upper half of the Northam on some matches as surely the whole purpose of the scanning and light system is to prevent scams?

It's just to stop people who have tickets in the lower row going up the back and having 2 to a seat. Me and my mates used to do it all the time when we had our ST's up the back. Was always easy to get a ticket down the front of the Northam then just come and stand at the back with everyone.
