terrasaint Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Website gone down and ticket hotline just cuts off. Not much hope for those who live a distance from st mary'!!!!
trousers Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Same here.... FFS.... conspiracy theory alert.... (they've brought online purchases down on purpose so that everyone queuing up at the ground doesn't lose out...) Edit: I got to the "buy tickets" page briefly once but it said I had exceeded my ticket allocation for the match! We need a bigger stadium FFS
Big Bad Bob Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 When I have managed to get to purchase tickets online it tells me that I have already purchased the maximum amount of tickets?? I can buy tickets for the Blunderland game though!!
trousers Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 When I have managed to get to purchase tickets online it tells me that I have already purchased the maximum amount of tickets?? Ditto.... me thinks they're "havin' a larf" (aka - sell tickets to walk ups first then open things up online...)
suspect everyone Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Same experience here. The one time the page loaded the only quantity of tickets I could select was 0. Great. Must be holding back to get tickets to those outside the stadium.
Turkish Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I hope those who made the effort and camped through the night are rewarded.
trousers Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I've got an idea.... everyone else stop trying to gain access for the next 5 minutes and I'll see if I can get in there on my own..... once I'm in I'll buy a couple of tickets before giving the all clear....
anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I hope those who made the effort and camped through the night are rewarded. Me too, I'm in the queue but we've still not moved past the Chapel Arms yet. Hope there's enough to go round.....
warsash saint Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I managed to get tickets on the 01271 number at just gone 9am
Matthew Le God Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Websites crashing, phones down, camping overnight. Its on days like this I'm glad I have a season ticket.
Andre Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 If I don't get tickets for this game I will scream.
trousers Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I managed to get tickets on the 01271 number at just gone 9am What's the full number?! Cheers
September Saint Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Same here.... FFS.... conspiracy theory alert.... (they've brought online purchases down on purpose so that everyone queuing up at the ground doesn't lose out...) Edit: I got to the "buy tickets" page briefly once but it said I had exceeded my ticket allocation for the match! We need a bigger stadium FFS We need a better website/on-line retailer. This seems to be a regular occurrence when demand is high God knows how they would manage with Glastonbury
Ivan Oar Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 got through on the 01272 number at 09.01am and booked nine tickets. happy days indeed!
anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 got through on the 01272 number at 09.01am and booked nine tickets. happy days indeed! wind-up?
Ivan Oar Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 there's no limit on the amount of tickets you can buy, they defo need to restrict this.
Ivan Oar Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 wind-up? Nope. I booked nine tickets with nine customer numbers but she told me there was no need for the customer numbers as there's no limit!!
Andre Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I need five, there's no way though if people are camping overnight! I'll bloody turn up on matchday anyway, we can all get in if we try
Matthew Le God Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 If I don't get tickets for this game I will scream. I thought some people said "if people want tickets for a Saints game next season in the Premier League they will get them". That theory doesn't really stand up if demand outstrips supply.
Big Bad Bob Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Try 01271 335708 That's screwed that then. I managed to get through (found the number by searching the forum) and purchased my 1 solitary ticket
trousers Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Yes! Got through on the 01271 number - phew.... (keep re-dialing - was engaged for about 2 mins before I got through)
Sour Mash Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I thought some people said "if people want tickets for a Saints game next season in the Premier League they will get them". That theory doesn't really stand up if demand outstrips supply. There are always spares floating about on the day before the game, if you're organised and know what you're doing, you can always get a ticket. If you're half-@rsed, you probably won't.
neil363 Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Just like to thank whoever it was who posted the 01271 number. Helped me out no end. Cheers.
Sour Mash Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Have the club changed their policy for this game? I thought we didn't sell tickets over the phone anymore?
LGTL Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 We always seem to be at home on the last day of the season. When was the last time we were away, it probably wasn't that long ago but I can barely remember what happened yesterday.

When was the last time we were away, it probably wasn't that long ago but I can barely remember what happened yesterday. 2013 home to Stoke City 2012 home to Coventry City 2011 home to Walsall 2010 home to Southend United 2009 away at Nottingham Forest

When was the last time we were away, it probably wasn't that long ago but I can barely remember what happened yesterday. Forest away the season we got relegated ? Pardews season maybe? Anyway I stupidly said Id let my sister use my ST for this game, as I wouldn't have a problem buying one individually...regretting that decision now !
anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I'm in on the 01271, got the tickets!

kazza Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Thank you to Warsash Saint for the telephone number tickets purchased.
Sour Mash Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Forest away the season we got relegated ? Pardews season maybe? Anyway I stupidly said Id let my sister use my ST for this game, as I wouldn't have a problem buying one individually...regretting that decision now ! Burnley at home when we got relegated, Southend at home in Pardew's season.
Saint Garrett Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Burnley at home when we got relegated, Southend at home in Pardew's season. Burnley was 2nd to last game. We got relegated then, but still had a game left.
saint lard Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Try 01271 335708 Thanks so much....just got through and got myself and my little boys tickets.
Matthew Le God Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 What is the 0271 number Post #17 Try 01271 335708
Sour Mash Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 2013 home to Stoke City 2012 home to Coventry City 2011 home to Walsall 2010 home to Southend United 2009 away at Nottingham Forest Charlton away in 2004 is the last time we had an away game as the last game of the season.
Hatch Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Think I'll just wait and pay cash on the door on the day.
Matthew Le God Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Charlton away in 2004 is the last time we had an away game as the last game of the season. What about as I listed - Nottingham Forest in 2009? 2013 home to Stoke City 2012 home to Coventry City 2011 home to Walsall 2010 home to Southend United 2009 away at Nottingham Forest 2009 is more recent than 2004 isn't it?
suspect everyone Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Keep trying the 01271 number. It took me 5 minutes of redialling but I got through in the end and successfully purchased a ticket.
Sour Mash Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Burnley was 2nd to last game. We got relegated then, but still had a game left. Think you're right actually. So two away games in ten years, still a weird way for it to pan out.
devon saint Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Just booked on the 01271 number thanks for posting had been trying since 8.30 on thev0800 number with no luck
Dan Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Just got straight through on that number, cheers lad!
Rich102 Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Got through to 01271 (cheers warsash!) but only after pressing re-dial 40+ times. Persevere!
This Charming Man Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I just phoned up and got 5x tickets for mates and it took me about 2 minutes to get through. Still wish I had gone down there at 6am though, may have had a chance of getting my face on the official site waving the tickets around.
Gemmel Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 Twitter is going mad with people moaning. Interesting to see the demand, for what should be a meaningless match. Is this all in aid of a pitch invasion? Last two years have been completely justified, but not sure this year is. Probably sound like an old kill joy and know my daughter and nephews will join in and enjoy it, but not for me this year.
trousers Posted 23 April, 2013 Posted 23 April, 2013 I'm at the stadium. Got about half hour queue left Might be wise to call the 01271 number whilst in the queue...!
