david in sweden Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 ** Editors instructions to hungry journalists. now that we are seen (by some in the media) ........to be playing a better class of football....are you listening Lawro? . ....the hacks are coming out of the woodwork with stories that are seen to be unsettling to fans and players alike. First that idiot back a few months.....who asked Ramirez if he wanted to play back in Italy .....for Milan - was it? then we have the......." Shaw's favourite club is Chelsea saga " (he's sure to go there -eh ?) ......and now it's Liverpool want Rodriguez and then .......Yoshida wants to play for Man.Utd ..'cos his mate's there... ...and today....The Star... (is that actually classed as a newspaper?).....says Jack Cork is being " watched "-----(whatever that means)... by Fulham.....that's a joke - right ? I really don't take too much notice of such gossip, but how feeble-minded do those journo's think we are ?
Danbert Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 Because of course players never change clubs and other clubs have no reason to be interested in our players.
pangy Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 I am surprised its just Fulham tbh, young English midfielder who has had a fantastic first season in the prem,I would imagine most teams outside the top 5 would be interested in a player like Cork
Graffito Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 Perhaps he wants to be offered an improved contract like some of his team mates. These stories surface at such times especially in the tabloids. Why would he leave for Fulham or Swansea.
SaintAmongSkates Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 One reason to leave would be more money - obvious I know. Not saying he will leave but players are not fans and they have different loyalties/ priorities than us
mcjwills Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 Perhaps he wants to be offered an improved contract like some of his team mates. These stories surface at such times especially in the tabloids. Why would he leave for Fulham or Swansea. Or he just wants a new watch :-)
Glasgow_Saint Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 When we are linked with top players we trust the newspapers When our top players are linked with better / bigger clubs its all lies

The only feeble minded people are those that think that all journalists, like, make it all up and stuff. But this is a fairly typical utterly clueless contribution from you, so well done on maintaining your standards.

rshephard3 Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 Journalists in 'young footballers changing clubs' shocker.
saintalan Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 Is there a list anywhere of squad with contract dates?
suewhistle Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 Well done on maintaining yours. That saved me some typing...:-)
whelk Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 Anyone who buys the Daily Star should be banned from the forum for being too thick to make a contribution. Although expect cb fry enjoys the easier of it's sudokus
Turkish Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 That saved me some typing...:-) Tell us about your weekend in Italy instead, that's much more interesting.

The9 Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 Is there a list anywhere of squad with contract dates? transfermarkt is probably the best resource : http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/southampton-fc/kader/verein_180.html
