Depending on the severity of Lambert's knock, he could get his chance next week. If not from the start then at least he may be given the opportunity to play the last 30 minutes or so.

Rickie had a poor game today, no doubt. But I thought we actually looked worse when Rodriguez went up top on his own. Perhaps would make more sense positionally for Mayuka to play in the Rodriguez role, but no way would I advocate that right now.

Lambert has had to play almost every league match ever since we signed him, and it shows on occasion. Now whether it is Mayuka or A N Other is debatable - but we sure need to find an alternate forward who is good enough to lift the burden off SRL's shoulders when required.

I had to admire his outward display of disappointment as Fox looked to be going lame with cramp, Mayuka was waiting to come on then everyone pointed out to MP that Fox was in trouble so he called back Luke to go on and motioned for Mayuka to go back to the dugout, for a moment he forgot where he was and reverted back to being 5 years old and just denied sweets in the shop, and had a mini stamping paddy. Good to see he is champing at the bit.
