kwsaint Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 20 years ago, the internet was in it's infancy. Now it's global. My question is, what will saints web be like in 20 years?
CB Fry Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 All the good posters won't be posting any more. And no wonder.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 20 years is 7,305 days I post on average 6.63 x per day In 20 years my post count will be 62,206 That’s 1,043 weeks and four days. That’s 175,420 hours, or 10,519,200 minutes, or 6,311,520,00 seconds.
Tamesaint Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 All the good posters won't be posting any more. And no wonder. Oh yes I will
Miltonaggro Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 Disbanded long before then. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely...
Dalek2003 Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 I will still be on my campaign to reveal the full circumstances in the reason for the failure to appoint Hoddle in 2004. OR The issue will have been fully covered by a major source and I will have been vindicated.
Turkish Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 All the good posters won't be posting any more. And no wonder. This. Plus ill have everyone on ignore and you can see why.
pap Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 We will have moved beyond the archaic abstraction of keyboard, mouse and monitor. It'll be a virtual world and we'll all participate through fully rendered avatars. During matchdays, Alpine's avatar will prance around in lederhosen, alternating between weeping and yodelling. People will be able to create their own programs, much like on Star Trek's holodeck. I can see Turkish creating a simulation dedicated to a heady blend of old-fashioned violence and fashion labels; kick merry sh!t out of each other in-game and compare garments between levels. Visitors from around the world will flock to see CB Fry's digital recreation of the Stoke of 2013, an exciting fusion of painstaking reproduction ( he'll capture the grime of the city beautifully ) and artistic licence ( 100ft statues of Tony Pulis on every street corner ). Unfortunately, Bearsy and Tokyo-Saint will never be seen again. They will use the technology of the day to create the most depraved virtual reality experience in existence, and spend the rest of their lives there.
Hatch Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 I'll be posting from my lagoon side retirement home on Jupiter
Gemmel Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 Alpine will be happy and positive MLG wont care if posters get a tiny bit of their posts slightly wrong Turkish will be a mod Dune / Stanley will be singing the virtues of communism The 9 won't care what the new kit will look like Bearsy will finally get laid Super mikey will be slim

What was that old Hofmeister beer add Follow the Bear Could have a point if that is where he is headed
ToreSF Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 It'll be a bunch of cockroaches tapping away about how awesome it is to live in the post-apocalyptic world.
PhilippineSaint Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 It'll be a bunch of cockroaches tapping away about how awesome it is to live in the post-apocalyptic world. Isn't that already happening on the Matchday thread if we let a goal in?
sussexsaint Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 Some c*nt will still be referring to skacel signing
Cincy USA Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 As long as the Pompey Takeover Thread is still going....
Saint Benali Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 All the good posters won't be posting any more. And no wonder. When you say good posters you mean negative knob heads like yourself right? Must be a suicide forum somewhere you "good" posters could join?
Manuel Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 This place will always be second rate whilst you are limited to 3 posts per day without having to 'subscribe'. Hardly worth the effort if you can't reasonably join in with discussions. Last post.
St_Tel49 Posted 20 April, 2013 Posted 20 April, 2013 It will be full of JCLs who only started to follow us in the last 15 years complaining about how we failed to retain the Champions League Trophy for the 5th time and demanding Cortese's resignation
Turkish Posted 21 April, 2013 Posted 21 April, 2013 (edited) Steve Grant will have become a recluse after a series of erotic and sexually explicit PMs between him and another poster are revealed and all over this and rival forums it will become know as 'JustMikegate' Edited 21 April, 2013 by Turkish

John Boy Saint Posted 22 April, 2013 Posted 22 April, 2013 at page 3156804 of the Pompey Takeover saga, mark 8. And is finally discovered to be the cause of the collapse of the Internet across the globe 5 years before, by someone with a Sinclair ZX that was discovered to be the only computer able to utilise the merest thread of remaining background internet.
