Saint-Armstrong Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 Saints have just hit 100,000 followers on social networking site Twitter - and to celebrate the club produced this video: Are you in it? Who reads your name out?
Sour Mash Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 I doubt the players care either way how many twitter followers the official account has.
Hatch Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 I know it's supposed to be a bit of fun, but if the skates did that and proved that they were unable to read, we would be merciless on them.
View From The Top Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 I doubt the players care either way how many twitter followers the official account has. They don't but it's clever use of social media by the club so fair play to them.
Matthew Le God Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 Proof we need a bigger stadium. Rŭngnado May First Stadium in North Korea has a capacity of 150,000. We could ship it over here if we get another 50k Twitter followers, or maybe we could rent it and the club will jet us all out to North Korea each home game.

I'm not sure the news that footballers aren't necessarily the brightest is a particularly big story, to be honest
Lighthouse Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 "I want Thomas" Nice one Nathaniel. Also Jrod looks like half of these people ran over his dog.
pingwing Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 ^^ HAHA! Rodriguez does sound gloomy and northern... JWP is the most well spoken player at the club!
trousers Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 Meanwhile, followers of @officialpompey = 27,800 #massiveclub
beatlesaint Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 AL's voice is like a little girl at least he can read

That's not a real stadium; they've photoshopped it.
Black Sea Saint Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 great idea, thought that it may have got a few more views than 300 though
SNSUN Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 The only thing I use Twitter for is to follow Saints FC (and now some players) as it's quick and easy to follow what's going on during Saints games when I'm working. A bit more TLC needed on my account to get on a video like that! I'll stick with the book of Face.
Appy Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 I wonder if Ward-Prowse read mine out because he is a skate and my surname is Appleton.
Jonnyboy Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 Why does Luke Shaw talk like a yardie and look about 34?
Andre Posted 17 April, 2013 Posted 17 April, 2013 God, cheer up lads! Good idea, but only a few looked like they really cared, Lallana and Rodriguez standing out as being miserable for no apparent reason. Not in it though
bpsaint Posted 18 April, 2013 Posted 18 April, 2013 Can't believe Luke Shaw is only 17. He looks older than me!
Pilchards Posted 18 April, 2013 Posted 18 April, 2013 Can't believe Luke Shaw is only 17. He looks older than me! Could be a Kanu job, what's he now 55?
Prince Jazzbo Posted 18 April, 2013 Posted 18 April, 2013 I'm not sure the news that footballers aren't necessarily the brightest is a particularly big story, to be honest Always used to amuse me when on MOTD, Motty would regularly inform the viewers that Trevor Brooking had an A-Level, and that his nickname among his fellow team mates was the professor
