Surely this part is true.

Haven't all home games gone on general sale, if only for a short time, thus giving anyone keen enough the opportunity to buy.

If there are 5000 tickets on general sale and 6000 people want a ticket, how can everyone who wants a ticket, get a ticket?

Cortese is a loner and the whole club hates him. Everyone in the offices are considering walking out due to poor working conditions and the club is a horrible place to be.

Managers should not be allowed to be sacked after draws.

MLT knows best.

Alpine Saint's WIFI goes down every time we win but is at full strength after a defeat.

Is that last one really busted??

To be fair i tend to agree still on the fact the Premier League is too commercial, just look at the ridiculous jump in price of the Reading game from last season to this.

Also - on the whole - the atmosphere in the prem is utterly terrible, and ours has suffered too due to a lot of JCLs turning up again.

As a fans experience i'd much rather be in the championship as it's cheaper, better atmosphere and more fun. On a football experience i don't think anyone argued they'd rather be there, since the football in this league is streets ahead

I still think a better summer of preparation and transfer activity could have prevented a couple of defeats, at least.

And yes, I have less to say after a win than a defeat. Think about it, its not rocket science.

Top man, at least you stick by your agenda through thick and thin rather than changing week to week.

But the first 5,000 get a ticket!

The point I made was that there is normally a chance to get a home ticket if you are really interested.

What is the shortest time between general release and sell-out?

Whilst that is a fair point it is also true that it is ALWAYS possible to get into a game if you really want to. I have often got tickets for sold out games including FA Cup Semi-Finals; European Cup Finals; and Saints 'sold-out' games at Luton; Old Trafford; the Dell (I do though remember one very uncomfortable ride when in the front row of the part of the East Stand allocated to Chelsea supporters when we scored and I forgot where I was) and at St Marys this season. There are always people with unused season tickets; tickets their mates couldn't use at the last minute etc. As long as you turn up knowing you will get in; aren't afraid to ask around; are prepared in compromise over where you sit and never never buy a ticket from a tout until the last minute you should always be able to get a ticket at face value or better.

Of course there is a chance. However if the supply is 5000 from GS and total demand up to kick off is 6000 then not everyone is going to get a ticket who wanted one. Some will want tickets more than others or will make more effort and will be in the first 5000 but that's not exactly the same thing.

If people are going to all that effort for a ticket then the club are missing trick.

> 38 points will be enough to see us survive in the Premier league,.....no it won't !

we shall see, not that I think we'll end on 38 points but I don't see both Wigan and Villa surpassing that total and they both have very bad GDs. Look at their fixtures, particularly Villa's they could end up on as little as 35.

1. Billy Sharp, loaning him out was ludicrous.

10. Richardson would be adequate Prem fullback.

11. Lambert will struggle against top defences because he has no pace.

I'm sticking with the above as still open to question. Loaning Sharp without at least giving him a chance was at least questionable, it's obvious how he's regressed at Forest without Adkins' regime.

Clyne's been great but Richardson also never had the chance to prove he definitely wasn't up to it. Like Sharp, he may not have been, but we don't actually know.

I'm just kidding about number 11, though I did genuinely believe it at the start of the season for about a month. ;)

The thing I'll say about this is, when Clyne went out for a couple of games this season, it was Cork that filled in at right back and not Richardson. That makes me wonder if they could see he's not up to it.

Richardson got injured IIRC - Fulham (h), forcing Yoshida/Cork to cover.

before you knock Richardson and Sharp, just remember the following team is still under contract to saints:

Forecast

Butterfield Martin Seaborne Dickson

Forte Hammond Chaplow de Ridder

Barnard Lee

This goes to prove that Saints really are no longer a "selling club".
