Anyone seeing them later this year? Got my tickets the other day for the O2, looking forward to it, even if it's without Bill Ward and won't be a performance like they used to give.

I've managed to get 4 tickets for the last night in Birmingham.

Agree it wont be like the ones I used to go to at the "Gaumont", hence I'm sitting down now.

Love Sabbath and saw them at download last summer.

 

But Ozzy's voice seemed to have deteriorated since the Ozzfests of the 90s so I won't be rushing to these gigs...

It is a fine album.

 

If you booked for a concert however you also had to buy the album.

Have listened to bits of the album, think it's alright, nothing special.

 

Seen a few clips on YouTube of their gigs so far, Ozzy's voice is absolutely f*cked by the end when they usually do Children of the Grave.

I've just read Tony Iommi's autobiography, he's best mates with Brian May. Brian asked him to do the national anthem at the top of Buckingham Palace with him for the Queen's jubilee concert in 2002.

Good album - fact you had to buy it when you got tickets was a bit dodgy though.

 

Tour's a bit expensive for me considering I saw them at Download last year, but that was a great, great show. Far better than I expected and the setlist was absolutely top class.
