3rd round of the cup you only have to give 10% of the ground away. So block 40 to 42 would stay home fans I assume.

Is it 10%? I thought the whole of the cup was 15%.

It's only ever 42 that gets moved anyway. No team has ever had the whole of the Northam to my knowledge.

It would make no sense whatsoever to move anyone from the Northam - especially not the season ticket holders who would most likely want their normal seats.

Add to this the fact that the itchen corner has been shut for a long time, and there are no season ticket holders to be displaced, so away fans could be accommodated there.

It is for exactly these reasons why Block 42 WILL be moved, just to annoy the club's most loyal fans.

No debate on this, of course the whole ground will be open. If the seats can be sold the extra staffing will be self-financing.

Expect 32,250 and 15,000 outside hoping for a tout. Watch out you don't get mugged lads, keep you tickets safely hidden. This could get very nasty. Assume ST's will be first in-line and in my view should because of their loyalty get 2 tickets each then the other 4500 who bother to turn up week-in week-out for one each. That should still leave a few for other members.

I am in block 42 and it is annoying that i may have to lose my seat.

Makes me so mad that the loudest part of the ground gets broken up.

Still i hope this time the stewards frisk all Manure fans, because we dont want any more flaires thrown onto the pitch.

Unfortunately its just the planning of the ground it is nothing new. and to claim that the most loyal will be moved is an insult just because that part is the loudest doesn't make those fans anymore loyal than those in the chapel, its just with the half empty stands the atmosphere doesn't spread and its more families and older supporters in the other parts

I meant most loyal in respect of those that forked out for a season ticket, who won't be able to choose their normal seats.

The design of the ground argument doesn't work either, as the doors to the Itchen concourse could be kept closed...

don't worry guys, with so many refusing to put money into Lowe's pockets there will be plenty of room for the real fans.

The Northam will likely be allowed to choose the Itchen corner - that smacks of political expediency and happy fans for a day

tee hee...

I wasn't insinuating anything, I was just thinking out loud that only a muppet would miss a political beauty being handed to them like this!

Not sure where to relocate to from the Northam if they take block 42, have bad memories in the Northam/Itchen corner when they sent us down so dont really want to go back there again.

A fiver says its a sell out - there are that many glory hunting fecking man utd fans in whitely and fareham and around they will make sure the ground is full. Not sure how they are going to feel when they have to walk home thinking about how Total Football is the way forward - once we have stuck it right up them!!

Apart from the big metal bar that runs down the corner to stop away fans getting into the home fans.

I guess the could replace 200 or so seats in the Itchen with that black meshing stuff but then the aways fans would also be under the corp boxes, can't see that being accepted either.

And the move isn't something new, it's been done for every home cup game at SMS. The away allocations change 10% for league 15% for cup matches.

I'm sure that the block 42ers know this and have been warned about it!

Annoying yes, but not done to deliberately wind up the fans!!

when will tickets go on sale?

Just wait and look on the website like everyone else, no good continually asking questions no-one can answer.

As there is a strong possibility we might be on TV, or Hants police might decide that Pompey v Bristol City and Saints v Man U is too big a policing operation on the same day then the exact time of the game hasn't yet been determined, let alone ticketing policy.
