lordswoodsaints Posted 30 November, 2008 Author Posted 30 November, 2008 no, just sick of your sad point scoring I'm a better fan than you stance point scoring or not,if you are not a stayaway like you say then you should feel the same way as i do about the stay aways.the genuine stay aways (fans who live miles away,ill fans,fans that have limited funds etc) i dont have a problem with its the fans that refuse to go because of lowe,refuse to go because of our relegation or refuse to go because we are playing kids,these are the fans that p1ss me off,they do nothing but moan about our plight but do nothing to contribute,financially or vocally. they moan about our finances,the players we sign or lack of,and the fact that we have to sell players to survive,yet they will also be the first in the queue trying to get tickets for the MANU game and then moan that they cant get any. i hope the club introduce a 2 ticket system for these fans,it should be season ticket holders and members first and then everybody else has to buy a cup ticket as well as a league game ticket preferably for a not so glamorous fixture.

Not only that but if you go through your posts, it is a complete contridiction to everything that you have posted , in the sense of trying to get the stay away fans to return. you are entitled to your opinion of me but if you have read my posts i want the stay aways to return for the right reasons,the crap fixtures on a cold tuesday night etc i want the ground full evey game or even 20k would put a smile on my face but it p1sses me off that the ground will be brimming for the MANU game yet the week after we will be back to 15k.you know as well as i do that no matter how well saints play against MANU the fairweather fans will not return again until we are fighting for promotion or get a decent cup run (very unlikely).

The worst snipes on here and never goes at all. But think of fans like friends - they should be there when you need them. And that's the problem many have - we have empty seats when filling them might mean holding onto our better players and building for the future. You can't fault people for wanting the best for their team and expecting that others will feel the same since they profess support.
Wes Tender Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Well, somebody can have the seat that I would have bought had I not arranged to be enjoying three weeks of Tropical sunshine in the Far East, leaving just before the New Year and returning around the 18th January. I'll just have to watch it live, late at night in some bar. If we win by some fluke, I'll be able to wear my Saints shirt and laugh at all the plastic ManUre fans with their fake replica shirts over there. If we lose, then I'll bemoan the fact that when we usually lose at home it is against teams whose players are generally unknowns or has beens rather than the World stars of ManUre. The point there is that it would not have cost much different to watch them than it would our youngsters playing the fizzy pop opposition.

These are not Lowe haters just people who turn up once every 5 years or so and then call themselves supporters. Leaning on my good will. Funny 'though, haven't heard from any of them in the 3 months since the season started! I'm down the golf club tomorrow, just wait for te fun to begin. Right! Of course I will.... ! AS IF! Is it really that hard to just be pleased we've got a plum tie and discuss that, rather than who is the bestest best fan ever because they hate/love Lowe the most, go to the most games, have the same star sign as MLT or stalk the most players?
