Saint-Armstrong Posted 9 April, 2013 Posted 9 April, 2013 So - due to the old one giving up - I am needing a new iPod. Last one was bought as a gift. However, what to get? Complete amateur when it comes to this. 1) I use it pretty much solely for music 2) I have a budget of £140 Any helps appreciated Thanks SA
Saintandy666 Posted 9 April, 2013 Posted 9 April, 2013 I would recommend getting a nano if all you are interested in is music. Shuffle is a bit annoying without its display and the touch does a lot lot more than just music(and out of your price range). And if you get a touch, you might as well wait till your next smart phone and get an iPhone because the combined price isn't that much different to a touch plus another smartphone, but that's beside the point! Go nano.
tomf05 Posted 9 April, 2013 Posted 9 April, 2013 Pretty much sums it up. A brand new nano is 129 quid with plenty of room for just music, no camera or anything but capability to store pictures and videos etc. I hate shuffles, as said even at 40 quid I find the screen makes an iPod. 170 quid gets you a touch but its basically an iPhone without the phone so you could just combine althought this generally leaves limited room for music. If your dead set on having an iPod for just music... Go nano!
Saintandy666 Posted 9 April, 2013 Posted 9 April, 2013 Yes, that if is true, if you use an iPhone as a music device you do need to get a larger one. Which is why I got a 32GB version.
