Barry Sanchez Posted 7 April, 2013 Author Posted 7 April, 2013 Remy would be an awesome addition to the squad, and qpr are ****ing ****, mbia was **** then so was the wall.
Olallana Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 He´ll be at Arsenal next year. But the finish was the best I´ve seen this year I think....
Gambol2K9 Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Great finish and would be a good fit for our squad, no chance of paying him 70k a week though.
david in sweden Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Lets buy him when QPR go down. he didn't look terribly impressive up until that goal, though....
B Rabbit Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Especially as we're already paying someone else 70 grand a week. With the addition of a top drawer centre back... I'd be more than happy to see our current youthful and apparently tight knit squad develop and see what they can do next season. They're only going to get even better

BARCELONASAINT Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 you have to be so sorry for Rednapp, that was really cruel the way 3pts was snatched from him................my ribs still hurt from laughing so much at his miserable face....i could not have written that script any better if i had tried....wonderful weekend
croydonsaint Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 you have to be so sorry for Rednapp, that was really cruel the way 3pts was snatched from him................my ribs still hurt from laughing so much at his miserable face....i could not have written that script any better if i had tried....wonderful weekend Yeah. I was watching that " I am the messiah" look spreading on his face and then that last minute goal. There's is a god after all..
rick1976.4.38 Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 i thought townsend looked good, hed be good on our right instead of puncheon remys goal was awesome, one of the best this season still, nice to see harry twitching some more
OldNick Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Kevin Phillips was really gutted for QPR . Did he play for them? I think when Harry took over QPR were 4points from safety, if so all those millions and they have gone backwards lol

I think when Harry took over QPR were 4points from safety, if so all those millions and they have gone backwards lol You would never have guessed that from Arry's interview ! He reckoned that they have really improved and individually mentioned each of his signings (Remy, Jenas, Townsend and Samba !) as being the reasons for this ! I suppose that some will believe it, mind, the media still seem to lap it up !!

I suppose that some will believe it, mind, the media still seem to lap it up !! Its his first hit at "they're were dead and buried before I went there". Which his media chums will only be too happy to fall for. Despite the £20M plus he spent.

Despite the £20M plus he spent. The second hit is "they'd already played all the easy home games before I got there...." - that was the quote that really got me about him with us.
dubai_phil Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 ITV Football @itvfootbaII 3h BREAKING: A QPR spokesman has issued a report saying that Harry Redknapp has resigned from his position as manager. More to follow. Whatever
SaintBobby Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 If QPR go down, are their finances so bad that they might have to make a contribution to the wages of players they sell on? E.g. If Remy is on £70K a week, might they have to pay £10K or £20K of this to get him off the books?
The Kraken Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 ITV Football @itvfootbaII 3h BREAKING: A QPR spokesman has issued a report saying that Harry Redknapp has resigned from his position as manager. More to follow. Whatever "ITV footbaii is hereby clearly labelled as a PARODY. For real football news, please visit @itvfootball" Yep, seems legit.
OldNick Posted 8 April, 2013 Posted 8 April, 2013 It should have brought back memories for Rednapp of the Everton 2-2 game in our relegation season (when Crouch shot weakly at the keeper instead of taking it to the corner flag with 30 secs to go and us 2-1 up) - except he seems to have wiped that season from his memory.add to that the last gasp Boro equalizer
Colinjb Posted 8 April, 2013 Posted 8 April, 2013 That game was beautiful. R*dk*pp looked utterly broken in the post match interview. Marvelous.
Pilchards Posted 8 April, 2013 Posted 8 April, 2013 Remy should be made to rot in the championships as it will teach him a lesson in greed. Why on earth go to a **** team like QPR?
Verbal Kint Posted 8 April, 2013 Posted 8 April, 2013 Remy should be made to rot in the championships as it will teach him a lesson in greed. Why on earth go to a **** team like QPR? 70k a week and live in one of the nicest parts of the country. Not a bad life
Big Bad Bob Posted 8 April, 2013 Posted 8 April, 2013 70k a week and live in one of the nicest parts of the country. Not a bad life London? One of the nicest parts of the Country? And £70k pw gets you feck all in London, even a beer costs just shy of £5, imagine how much it costs in on of the more "affluent" areas...

Mr X Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Saying that someone Townsend? Looked the best player on the pitch whoever he is
Katalinic Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Remy should be made to rot in the championships as it will teach him a lesson in greed. Why on earth go to a **** team like QPR? I expect Redknapp has his usual clause in his contract giving him a % of profit on player sales as a bonus - then does a deal with the agent who also gets a cut to ensure his client signs.....
Big Bad Bob Posted 11 April, 2013 Posted 11 April, 2013 Saying that someone Townsend? Looked the best player on the pitch whoever he is 22, on loan from Tottenham, has played for the England U16s through to U21s, continually on loan from Tottenham though...and, yes, he does look quite good.
doggface Posted 11 April, 2013 Posted 11 April, 2013 Is Ramirez really on 70k a week? No 38k + bonuses
saints_is_the_south Posted 11 April, 2013 Posted 11 April, 2013 My 1st particular choice for a winger in the summer would be Tom Ince, but if Blackpool want silly money for him (his father was quoting £25m the other week!) then I'd be all over Townsend. Has been superb for QPR since going there Still only 21, would fit our profile for buying young English players perfectly. I'd take Remy on lower wages too...
Baldbarbarian Posted 11 April, 2013 Posted 11 April, 2013 No 38k + bonuses thats what I thought. I think he will come good next season if he is still here.

The9 Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 I didn't even think the Remy goal was all that good, he was unmarked and the (reverse) bend was down to luck. The ball hopped up a bit as he hit it, literally could have gone anywhere and no matter what a striker says, you can only maximise the percentages and a bounce like that takes it out of your control to a point. You can control your swing and aim, but there's no way he could have read that hop and compensated for it with his swing already under way. He meant to sidefoot it on target, maybe even bend it, but it didn't do what he meant it to.

Saint Charlie Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 he will soon be found out as is very left footed.next season he will not be as effective IMO This - he is this seasons James McClean.
tajjuk Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 Is Ramirez really on 70k a week? 2 million euros a year after tax so I think it works out at about £62k a week. He said so himself.
trousers Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 2 million euros a year after tax so I think it works out at about £62k a week. He said so himself. A reporter reported that's what he said....
tajjuk Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 A reporter reported that's what he said.... He was quoted though and if the reporter made it up that's libel. I have no doubt he's on that much money, one of the top prospects in Europe coming to a newly promoted club was always going to involve some decent wages.
