Olallana Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Wigan doing the classic mistake when being 11 against 10. Lots of possession but no speed on the ball movement...
Sheaf Saint Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Being above Sunderland would only put you 18th. Safety would be Villa on 33. I knew that. I was just testing you
The Kraken Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 What the f*ck is he thinking?! "When you're kicked in the head and you're lying there dead, that's Zamora....."
Ohio Saint Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 What the f*ck is he thinking?! "When you're kicked in the head and you're lying there dead, that's Zamora....." Is it possible to send a player off twice for one offence?
RobM Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Is it possible to send a player off twice for one offence? We can only hope for an extended ban that lasts the rest of the season!
Ohio Saint Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 After next season I can actually imagine us in the Europa League after seeing Chelsea today. Somebody slap me please.
The Kraken Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 So QPR lose their top scoring striker for an extended spell. Bobby Zamora has scored 4 league goals all season. I'm not sure how much of a punishment it is.
RobM Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 He's been injured for a bit though hasn't he, so perhaps not as black-and-white as you make out.

Matthew Le God Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Newcastle take the lead. 3rd minute of injury time FFS Why are you upset by that? Helps keep 9th/10th place a possibility for Saints.
trousers Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Why are you upset by that? Helps keep 9th/10th place a possibility for Saints. I know, but a draw wouldn't have shut that particular door though, and to see Newcastle struggle is quite an amusing spectator sport too...
Crab Lungs Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Are Newcastle and their late, late winners p1ssing anyone else off? Geordie bastards, stop scoring so late!
The Kraken Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Are Newcastle and their late, late winners p1ssing anyone else off? Geordie bastards, stop scoring so late! Our brilliant wins over the last few weeks seem to have been soured ever so slightly by some results below us. Unless Wigan lose out to 10 men, we'll still "only" be 6 points off the relegation spots. Having beaten Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea in recent weeks, plus having had 3 wins on the spin, you'd kind of hope for a little bit more than that!

Removes any complacency and keeps us on our toes.
Brussels Saint Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 So definitely at least 6 points off the relegation places with 6 to play and now both Swansea and Fulham in sight for a top 10 finish. Have to admit the current situation is way beyond most of our pre-season predictions.

Turkish Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 I'm hopeless with maths - when is the soonest QPR or Reading can be relegated? They could relegate each other when they play each other at the end of April. If the game finishes a draw they could both go down that day. Now that would amuse me.
Saint Garrett Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 How did we lose at home to both of these sides ! Awful.
trousers Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Wigan go close. Great save (although straight at the keeper)

Dalek2003 Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 QPR lead!! What a goal! Would be a good result as puts Wigan and Slumberland deep in, think QPR will go down anyway.
student Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 A good result for you. QPR might yet escape but no chance they'll get more points than you're on already, any points off wigan is a bonus

saintmatt Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Fair play to QPR, hasn't looked like 10 men for 70 mins!
The Kraken Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 I shouldn't laugh but....... F*ck off Harry!
James Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Good for us I think. Wigan still 6 pts behind and finishes QPR off.
hypochondriac Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Looking at the fixtures QPR could still stay up... Edit: Not now! HAHA.
Dalek2003 Posted 7 April, 2013 Posted 7 April, 2013 Some serious twitching from Arry there. Really, couldn't happen to a nicer chap !
Lighthouse Posted 7 April, 2013 Author Posted 7 April, 2013 Perfect result for us. Bye bye 'arry!!! Wigan drop another 2 points behind us.
