same bloke who writes for a celtic journal who is also reporting that Gary Hooper is having a medical at Forest!

Serious? would be an odd one? thought at least one prem club would take a gamble?

I personally think Ince would be a good signing for us.

good luck to him at cardiff and they do seem to be giving themselves a chance at staying up like us last season

Ince is a decent player with potential, but when you consider that he's costing £8M & Maher is costing €8M, Cardiff are staggeringly overpaying for him.

like we paid £7m for rodriguez? not much difference really

Exactly like that. We paid well over the top for J-Rod. Well over the top.

well, I guess that is how much top NPC players cost.

Cardiff giving it a good go this summer.

someone on here told me that I would be wasting my money if I had a wager on them staying up

I think they will

Think Jay started to repay the money at the back end of last season, lot more to come as well this season!

One month of form doesn't make many inroads into £7M.

Can't knock Cardif's ambition, getting Cardozo would be massive for them (as it would for all but 3 or 4 sides). Having seen Palace and Hull last season and the likelihood they won't spend heavily, it is hard to see three sides finishing below them.

Looks like Swansea are singing Wakaso from Espanyol...very good signing for £4mill...cracking box to box midfielder

Just hope we are getting our ducks in a row and not shooting for huge names and missing some gems...

Centre Mid is definitely an area we have identified...Wanyama would of been superb, but looks off...never thought Banega was quite right for us.

Fer however would be superb...

Really hope we get them in the next few weeks...would be so good to have them on the summer tour

I'm not convinced gelling takes place until players play competitive games together anyway, which is why loads of signings at once is rarely a good plan.

Can't agree with that at all. Playing top level opposition in pre-season games witht he players working togehter is all about building understanding and intergrting new players, of course it makes a difference.

Indeed - hopefully we can sign another couple before the away trip.

Redmond going to Norwich and long-time target Dean Whitehead to Middlesborough. Maybe we are going for players out of our reach.

Missing out on the black Steve De Ridder and a champ cb? Next Alex Baptiste will be the one that got away this season...

Titus Bramble training with West Ham

Probably just for fitness etc, but in general is their a Prem Club with as backward ownership as West Ham? Very much a dark ages club IMO. Awful transfer policy.

I'm pretty sure Cardiff have only actually signed one player, who they didn't sign until today, and who cost a fair bit less than we've already spent on Lovren?

Do you expect people to take you seriously when you continue with such utter nonsense? Its 1st July, we already have a better squad than Cardiff and signed Dejan Lovren for big money two weeks ago.

According to MP, we're all done.

Happy with our business, are you ?

Please post a single quote from MP stating all business will be done by July 1st.

Joseph Yobo linked in Turkish press.

  Quote

The Turkish Football Federation only permits six foreign players on the pitch at any one time.

The Yellow Canaries now have 11 non-Turkish players and the Turkish Football Federation have just introduced a ruling which only permits 10 foreign players per-club for the 2013-14 season.

WTF we can't be allowed to do that over here is beyond me......

Same website Stoch was linked on I think. However, this will be labelled rubbish whilst Stoch will be referred to as a target all summer!

would be a decent signing for a low fee IMO

EU employment laws - Turkey not part of the EU so they can set whatever employment rules they like.
