Thedelldays Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 i will probably make every effort to go to this one
Um Bongo Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Sweet, bumper crowd and a chance to watch some decent players! Excellent draw.
Edmonton Saint Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 A full house, money from the tv companies, could mean we dont have to sell someone
Johnny Shearer Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Fook me. Total Football is gonna sweep them aside!
Toomer Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Open the corners fill the ground get Jan some spends.
Coastal Saint Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Could save selling a player or 2 with a full house!!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 good news imo all our young players will raise there game in coming weeks - everyone will wanna play against UTD
Bailey Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Woo hoo! Should be a full house for this one surely? Will be a massive test for the youngsters. BRING EM ON!
abesaint Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 AMAZING! finally a good draw! i know we'll get spanked, but will be fun to play one of the big boys again!
Saints foreva Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Means we will get all the f*cking glory hunters and arm chair fans back. God help us.
Saint Martini Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 A full house, money from the tv companies, could mean we dont have to sell someone +1 We'll lose but at least we'll get some cash form it. Better then going out against Rotherham.
Thedelldays Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 looking at the draw...dare I say that it could well be on telly?? along with hull v newcastle preston v liverpool..
Mustapha Fag Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 ruperts prayers answered early exit but cash in the bank, maybe we can hold on to Lallana and Surman till the end of season now
Johnny Shearer Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Can't wait for a doomsayer to put a negative slant on this from a multitude of reasons!
Bourno Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 I hope this is not on TV. Season ticket holders should be offered tickets at £15, everyone else should be £30.
jawillwill Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Means we will get all the f*cking glory hunters and arm chair fans back. God help us. Quit your whinging. We need all the fans we can get at the moment. Will be great experience for the youngsters, and looks like Jan has got his wish.
Thedelldays Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 I hope this is not on TV. Season ticket holders should be offered tickets at £15, everyone else should be £30. i hope it is...
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 i will probably make every effort to go to this one Glory hunter:D
Mowgli Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Best draw possible (other than the same tie away!). If we fill the SMS we'll find out what an insignificant gesture those stayway fans are making. Of course, in reality, most will be there ;~) I just hope it's not on TV (given our record...)
ivangolac Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 I hope this is not on TV. Season ticket holders should be offered tickets at £15, everyone else should be £30. B*llocks , everyone should be 15 quid except Man U ... they can pay 50
Snowballs2 Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Can't wait for a doomsayer to put a negative slant on this from a multitude of reasons! We will get stuffed rotten....there you did not have too long to wait
View From The Top Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 We will get mullered but if it means 30,000 and keeping hold of a couple of the nippers then great. I've just spoken to my two mates who haven't been to SMS since Lowe's return and neither of them are going. People may, or may not, agree with their stance but at least they're consistent.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Best draw possible (other than the same tie away!). Nailed on!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Saints should make fans go to 2 home games to qualify for UTD game. That way the likes of Windmill arms 2 and Alpine who NEVER go to games wont get tickets before genuine fans/supporters
Mattio Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 I'm back in Southampton for this game! Get in!!
Mozz Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Just looked up figures on the FA site. We only get 45% of the gate (45% Man Utd, 10% FA). Getting selected for TV makes things better though as £160,000 for a live game, £7,500 highlights and £9,000 for full radio commentary.
OldNick Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 all those 'wont go if RL is threre' wont be able to go and so I odubt we'll get a full house.
Spudders Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 I am excited about this already. No one will expect us to win this game, we are already used to getting beatings so no real preassure. The downside is it's bound to be on tv which is bad news for us!
70's Mike Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 I hope this is not on TV. Season ticket holders should be offered tickets at £15, everyone else should be £30. Agreed although it should be extended to Members/Anyone WHO can prove they have been to all home games. Up price to £35 for rest
RedWillie Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 my prediction on tv 22,000 if we are lucky not on tv = 25,000 ish
Rusaldo Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 Cant Wait, Anyone Want To guess when tickets go on sale to ST Holders?
Edmonton Saint Posted 30 November, 2008 Posted 30 November, 2008 I reckon its a cert to be on Tv, The tv companies love Man U and will love focusing on the possibility of an upset. Reckon it will be the ITV match so a national audience can see Jans total football revolution..
