St Chalet Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 J Rod just ran through them there, Gaston misses open goal.
DrZuess1979 the 2nd Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Jrod is Immense ow my god what a miss from Gaston
Olallana Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 should´ve been a corner on Gastons there....clearly a touch from the defender stearing it out
JoeShmoe Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 We should be 3 up here, hope we don't regret this as Reading will come flying out the blocks second half
Stepgar Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Is it me or is Niall Quinn plain biased in his commentary? No not you I think the same. He is loving reading
Barry Sanchez Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Good thing Evil Nicci picks the transfers then. And the team. Thank christ he signed Mayuka Guly and Ramirez...........
sussexsaint Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 should´ve been a corner on Gastons there....clearly a touch from the defender stearing it out Afraid not on the replay the defender didn't touch it.
Ohio Saint Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Anyonew with a crap stream here is a HD one http://blinertv.ucoz.com/stream1.html Awesome!!! Thanks!!!
pangy Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Maybe if NA used J-Rod through the middle he would still be with us ???
DrZuess1979 the 2nd Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 About time he mentioned our forward line weve been slicing them apart for the last 15 mins pillock
Ampersound Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 The league table looks nice right now. Come on saints!
St Chalet Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 The big difference for me with MP over NA is that we have Lambert playing 10 allowing Jrod to run through the middle at pace.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 6 April, 2013 Author Posted 6 April, 2013 Anyonew with a crap stream here is a HD one http://blinertv.ucoz.com/stream1.html Do you need to download anything? Blank for me?
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Thank christ he signed Mayuka Guly and Ramirez........... Has anyone never signed a dud? Even Fergie signed Taibi, and imo he's the best manager ever. Also, Guly was good in L1 & the championship. And did ok in spells this season.
pap Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Kamikaze hooiveld out in force again today Yeah, he's gotta go mate. Liability this year.
trousers Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Anyonew with a crap stream here is a HD one http://blinertv.ucoz.com/stream1.html Great quality bit won 't go full screen for me...
pangy Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Do you need to download anything? Blank for me? Nothing at all to download, maybe adblocker stopping it??
Colinjb Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Jay Rod and Lambert. Sutton and Shearer for the modern age....
Cricketphilly Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Quinn is a disgraceful co commentator , he's choked Reading are losing.
trousers Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Quinn is a disgraceful co commentator , he's choked Reading are losing. ESPN American feed is more neutral
Colinjb Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 ESPN American feed is more neutral Ahhhh, the good old soccerball channel!
Waterside.saint Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Quinn is a disgraceful co commentator , he's choked Reading are losing. Think he played for Reading in the '80s?
BARCELONASAINT Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 wow these Sky reporters are absolute clowns. It's cringeworthy the love-in they appear to have with Reading.....it's obvious Sky badly want Reading to win this. Saying that i thought that was a crap first half from us....and yet we so easily could have gone in 3-0 up...footballs weird!
Wade Garrett Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Quinn is a disgraceful co commentator , he's choked Reading are losing. Still has an affinity for Sunderland, this result will be bad for them. He hasn't been that bad though.
trousers Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 ESPN (Steve McManaman): "Southampton by far the better side in first half"
obelisk Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 A 2nd would have been nice. Would probably have put Reading right out of it. Expect Royals to come out with some gusto after half time. See that off and then their heads'll drop once they concede another to Saints.
MOSaint Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Not a brilliant first half, didn't start playing until we got the opener. Rodriguez has been our best player again so far, Ramirez & Hooiveld have also stood out but for the wrong reasons. Reading have pressed well so far and we still need to be careful second half.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Ramirez has been on off, but hey, that happens with a lot of players like this. Any of you lot watched Nani before? I'd still have him in my side as he can make things happen (J Rod hit bar chance for example).
austsaint Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 We look strangely lethargic - Davis has been good in midfield; J-Rod lively; big miss by Ramirez and Jos looks shaky. A little fortunate to be in the lead.
OttawaSaint Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 ESPN American feed is more neutral Who's the scouser on that feed, bloody hilarious, loves us. Saying stuff like, "I don't care, you can slow it down as much as you like, not a penalty, no...no....NO...stop showing it, I don't care he won the ball..." We look decent at the moment, esp last 10 minutes, horrible miss by Ramirez though. Davis, Lambert, JRod, Schniederlin best players in first half... Hope we can get a quick 2nd and finish them off, may need to weather an early storm here
Wade Garrett Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Cheap shot on Ramirez, the new scapegoat. Cork and Morgan need to start showing a bit more.
Saint Martini Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Awful first 30 minutes but we should have scored at least one more after Rodriguez' goal.
S-Clarke Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Ramirez has been on off, but hey, that happens with a lot of players like this. Any of you lot watched Nani before? I'd still have him in my side as he can make things happen (J Rod hit bar chance for example). I don't think I've ever seen him put in any sort of decent performance away from home. Let's not kid ourselves that his display is just an occasional thing. It's every, single away game. Still, we've come into the game slowly and Rodriguez is frightening the life out of them. You can see the confidence bursting out of the kid at the moment.
AussieDog Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 We've certainly had "the rub of the green" today so far. Reading are playing us at our own game with regards to the pressing. Let's see what tactical changes The Pochmeister comes up with at half time. we've had too many sloppy passes, Hooiveld is having one of those days where he just looks like a penalty waiting to happen, and we're winning despite Ramirez rather than because of.
Colinjb Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 The more I see that challenge, the more I think Jos Hooiveld got that utterly spot on! And I would be fuming if it was against us....
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Cheap shot on Ramirez, the new scapegoat. Cork and Morgan need to start showing a bit more. Fans love a scapegoat. No idea why people can't just support the players.

Steve McManaman....I've always liked the bloke...
Viking Warrior Posted 6 April, 2013 Posted 6 April, 2013 Watching in Belmont street in Aberdeen . Who are the cocks commentating . Good jay goal he didn't touch the ball. Despite what Wilkins said . Come on Saints keep possession . This was never going to be a tidy game to watch
