Was it a lot closer than we thought against Chelsea?

 

I have seen shoulder to shoulder challenges in the box given for big teams. We could use the luck but this kind of thing is borderline imo.

 

Good on maya for being strong in the challenge but I would hate to see us throw away good results for play like this.

Def not a pen (although you do see them given) as Yoshi was marginally in front of Moses and the ball was in playing distance.

Suggestion of elbow? No I didn't think so either. A shoulder barge for me. Strong defending. Never a penalty.

Moses never getting there IMO but was pretty forceful. Seen them given, but myself I wouldn't rate that as a penalty.

2) We were playing a top 4 team, they are always given

3) Perhaps Thank God that we had a late Referee change

Was good to see him toughen up in the 50-50 challenge after bottling it Vs Ji Sung Park (QPR game). No pen.

He was in front of him so was just getting himself between Moses and the ball to Davis could collect it.

 

We were lucky Hazard didn't go down near the end when Jos stupidly put his foot in again. Fair play to Hazard who stayed on his feet and fired a low cross across goal. If he'd gone down, it was a stonewall.

Yep, that one would have been given if Hazard hadn't stayed on his feet. Thank f**k for his honesty!
