OttawaSaint Posted 1 April, 2013 Share Posted 1 April, 2013 QPR and READING are gone. Candidates for that final spot: 1 from VILLA (30), SUNDERLAND (31), WIGAN (30), NEWCASTLE (33), NORWICH (34), STOKE (34) or SAINTS (34)

As it stands I still think over the course of the season it'll be Villa that deserves to take that final spot, but Sunderland are in big trouble. Of us, Norwich, Stoke and Newcastle amongst those others, I see Norwich as being the ones to struggle and join the relegation battle. They can't buy a goal at the moment. Poor form from them. Saint Charlie Posted 1 April, 2013 Share Posted 1 April, 2013 West Ham would have to get zero points from their remaining games which won't happen. Hope Sunderland go: nothing club for me.

They've got a very straightforward run in, should be ok imo.

I think zero is a bit OTT but they probably only need one win. Mind you their next three are away to Liverpool then us, then Man U at home. Not inconceivable that they get zero from those three before they then play Wigan.

FloridaMarlin Posted 1 April, 2013 Share Posted 1 April, 2013 Redknapp smelling relegation and already trying to distance himself from his team's shortcomings. The player he went out on a limb to bring in, spending £12m of Tony Fernandes' money and paying him £100.000 a week (and all this after saying he wasn't going to spend a lot of the chairman's money as it wasn't fair) made two of the biggest rickets you'll ever see. But on top of that, in his post-match presser he then blames Samba for thrusting himself up front in the last 10 minutes. Isn't it in the manager's control to tell his players what to do and where to play? Of course, had Samba scored or set up a goal in those last 10 minutes, Saggychops would have hailed his tactical genius, but as they lose, he castigates the players. At a time when they probably need a lift and a consoling arm around the shoulder, he blasts them in public. I seem to recall him doing something similar here, when his negative vibes in attempting to absolve himself of all blame, transmitted to the players. Despicable man. Vile creature. John Boy Saint Posted 1 April, 2013 Share Posted 1 April, 2013 NA should have waited a week... Goes to Reading already in a win win situation, takes over while they are jumping up and down on the trapdoor, £1m+ in his skyrocket if he pulls the Rabbit out of the hat, 3 year contract at a team where the expectations are more realistic than Leeds. If its true he lives Winchester way, then there's no need to move house again.

Horrible horrible man, was gutted when he came to us and never took to him with all the "they" comments after a losing game instead of "we". Pathetic little man. Totally agree with all of this. Couldn't believe he said that in his interview, really showed to all his total incompetence as a manager.
