ericofarabia Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Come on you Saints ... a nice slow OWTSGMI ringing out loud and clear. Wx reports needed for the final big push .... amazing rain lightening and thunder earlier today, but suny with some cloud later. Dubai Phil is at The 7's getting trashed and sends his love  Are The 7's being shown on Sky? Look out for his Dubai Saints Flag. England in the final KO in about 10 mins. We normally do well when he isn't round to jinx us .... COYS Sounds like we are getting into it a bit more a few half chances, Saints fans in good voice. My last post I think. Todorov ex skate coming on, probably get the seem jeers that skate boy Cranie was getting
Arizona Posted 29 November, 2008 Author Posted 29 November, 2008 Blackpool losing so think we go above them on goal difference Blackpool still ahead of us because 'B' comes before 'S' in the alphabet.
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 What kind of institution are you in Saint Martin? Is it the same kind of "3 wise monkeys " institution inhabited by other Saints fans on here. Right, not getting depressed and agitated about a 0-0 at Charlton and I belong in an institure..... Get a grip, we're in this game probably the better team in the second half and slightly worse in the first. Nothing to be too depressed about. If we hang on we'll have 5 points form the last 3, that would be absolutely fine with me.
John B Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 (edited) Blackpool losing so think we go above them on goal difference (or maybe not as GD the same as is goals scored, we have conceded more though) Our goal difference like this year is bad Edited 29 November, 2008 by John B
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Free-kick to Saints, cleared for a corner. COME ON SAINTS!
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Doncaster have scroed. 1-1. Good, so I think it's same positions as before kick off would settle for that
Arizona Posted 29 November, 2008 Author Posted 29 November, 2008 Good, so I think it's same positions as before kick off would settle for that As it stands, we move ahead of Norwich.
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 As it stands, we move ahead of Norwich. Coem on the Owls!!!!!
miserableoldgit Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Doncaster have scroed. 1-1. The bastards!! I think that scroe-ing should be banned!!
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Corner again to Saints, we have to score eventually. COME ON SAINTS!
Um Bongo Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 The bastards!! I think that scroe-ing should be banned!! It was in true Dutch style.
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 C'mon Pearce, head in one of these corners!
mprobert Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Corner again to Saints, we have to score eventually. COME ON SAINTS! - not from a corner, its not in the script
1965onwards Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 So 6 superb Davis saves to "0" for Weaver equals a close first half ? You won't be coming out any time soon.
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 - not from a corner, its not in the script We've already scored three from a corner I think this year, so why not?
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 All 3 teams above us now lsing and coventry have gt Reading away. 3 teams below us are drawing. Could be a good day if we hold out
John B Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 From the BBC What this all about? Bradley Wright-Phillips takes a shot. Kelvin Davis makes a save.
patred44 Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 73:58...... Shot by Bradley Wright-Phillips(Southampton) right-footed from left side of penalty area (12 yards), save (caught) by Kelvin Davis(Southampton). Someone have a word FFS:rolleyes:
mprobert Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 We've already scored three from a corner I think this year, so why not? I was trying to buy a goal
brightspark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 a draw would be a good result, as it stops Charlton from closing the gap. 4 can't be turned around in a day so its nice to have that cushion. Itd be great to win but for me the priority here is to make sure we don't feck it up (though that doesnt urge on sitting back by all means)
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 We won't score now. We will sit back and play for the point.
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Blackpool now winning! norwich still losing and watford donny and charlton havent closed the gap
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 So 6 superb Davis saves to "0" for Weaver equals a close first half ? You won't be coming out any time soon. That equals to half that Charlton edged (like I said in my post). It was only a 5-10 minute spell in which those saves were made by Davis so I wouldn't say we were dominated. Besides that we had 7 shots as well against Charltons 10. And in the end, like you said, its about effectivity. So correct me if I'm wrong, but so far we've just as effective as Charlton.
Under Weststand Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Just got back from Picking Daughter up from work seems like a lot better second half
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 WTF happened to the commentators voice then?
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Come on you slates. Can we make that Grey's? Slates sounds too much like skates. COYG!!!!
1965onwards Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 When we have forced their goalkeeper to perform like Davis, you can say that we have been equally effective in overall play. If the situation had been the other way around "monkeys" like you would be saying how lucky they were.
Under Weststand Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 two great saves from Weaver corner Saints
Leicestersaint Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Why can't we ever score from a corner??
Minty Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Why can't we ever score from a corner?? So Pearce hasn't done so twice recently? I just imagined that?
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Wotton coming on holding on to a point and keeping the 4 pt gap
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Why can't we ever score from a corner?? We have. 3 times. Two of them against the top two teams.
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 When we have forced their goalkeeper to perform like Davis, you can say that we have been equally effective in overall play. If the situation had been the other way around "monkeys" like you would be saying how lucky they were. And people like you would be complaining about the woeful finishing. We've been the better side the second half and have had the chances to show for it. We've been equal to Charlton this match which ever way you want to turn it.
