Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Pearce on, Cork in midfield. Not sure who went off.
BotleySaint Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Pearce on for Robertson. Hopefully we'll not see Roberston again.
suewhistle Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 dear 1965 - I was quoting Radio London, not a Southampton station. These: " " are quotation marks.
Minsk Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Robertson off. Pearce on at CB. Jack Cork into CM. Drew pushed into hole with DMG up front.
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Pearce on, Cork in midfield. Not sure who went off. I wouldn't mind Pearce on and Cork to right back, but not sure about midfield as I assume that means DMG up front. But of course a goal off his backside and I'd buy him a pint tonight. We're still in the hunt, one flukey goal and we're 7 points clear of relegation.
Arizona Posted 29 November, 2008 Author Posted 29 November, 2008 So that's DMG up front on his own? Owls 1-1 Canaries
Um Bongo Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Robertson off. Pearce on at CB. Jack Cork into CM. Drew pushed into hole with DMG up front. Oh man, Bye bye 3 points.
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Robertson off. Pearce on at CB. Jack Cork into CM. Drew pushed into hole with DMG up front. That's a lot of changes for one substitute!!!!!!! Fingers crossed.
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Drew in the hole and not Lallana? Interesting. I suppose we could pass it to McGoldricks feet and he could lay it off for Surman to shoot from range.
brightspark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Oh man, Bye bye 3 points. To the other team....?
1965onwards Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Dear Sue,hardly threatening their goal, and defending so badly that only six superb saves from Davis keeps us from a tonking,is not only "not too bad",it is not "matching Charlton".
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 BWP misses the ball completely. C*nt. Saints back to their best with swift passing football apparently.
Um Bongo Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 To the other team....? If only I could be that confident.
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 BWP misses the ball completely in a promising position.
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 We seem to be a bit better this second half.
John B Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 (edited) Dear Sue,hardly threatening their goal, and defending so badly that only six superb saves from Davis keeps us from a tonking,is not only "not too bad",it is not "matching Charlton". From the BBC CHARLTONSOUTHAMPTON Possession 48% 52% Shots on target 5 3 Shots off target 5 4 Corners 8 7 Fouls 4 6 Seem to be OK at the moment but anything could happen Edited 29 November, 2008 by John B
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Lallana glances wide from a promising position.
BotleySaint Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 At least its not chance after chance for Charlton now. Looks like Jan got it right at half time. Now if only we can convert one of our chances we might sneak a 1-0! Equally, we might burst and lose 3-0
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Now Cook is playing in midfield for us apparently.
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Snaiderlin & Cooke. Pearce allowed to push forward.... My god the commentary is awful!
saint lard Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Perhaps we will see what usually happens when we have all the posession,we end up losing. Let's hope this scenario plays out for Charlton. Clutching at straws,i know.
1965onwards Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Time people forgot about pretty INEFFECTIVE play. Matches are won by EFFECTIVE play. Now,if we could manage PRETTY,EFFECTIVE play,we would be getting somewhere.
mprobert Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Wouldnt want to be a Sunderland fan - £80Mill spent on the team, one place above the relegation zone and losing 4-1 at home to Bolton

No good point but according to the BBc we have had more possession How many shots has Lallana had today surely he must score soon Edited 29 November, 2008 by John B
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Wouldnt want to be a Sunderland fan - £80Mill spent on the team, one place above the relegation zone and losing 4-1 at home to Bolton Roy Keane has lost his mind. For the last two summers now he's signed about 20 new players.

brightspark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 How fecked off are you if your a Droylsden fan? You're winning away at Chesterfield at the cup and it gets called off due to fog. What a PO!!!
John B Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Wouldnt want to be a Sunderland fan - £80Mill spent on the team, one place above the relegation zone and losing 4-1 at home to Bolton Would not be a Newcastle fan either Spent millions and are in the relegation zone
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Saints corner - Lallana takes, poor corner and cleared.
brightspark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Approaching 200 minutes without a league goal... umm arr
Um Bongo Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Approaching 200 minutes without a league goal... umm arr Saints? We scored last weekend.
1965onwards Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 What kind of institution are you in Saint Martin? Is it the same kind of "3 wise monkeys " institution inhabited by other Saints fans on here.
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Approaching 200 minutes without a league goal... umm arr Oh noes......
brightspark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Approaching 200 minutes without conceding a league goal... w00t
Arizona Posted 29 November, 2008 Author Posted 29 November, 2008 Approaching 200 minutes without a league goal... umm arr Saints? We scored last weekend. 40 mins at Reading 90 against Plymouth So that would be the 70th minute mark in this game. Not that long to go TBH. I think the BWP and John partnership went 1,000 hours without a goal once last season.

Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Come on Saints, McGoldrick chance saved.
John B Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 (edited) What should JP do? Bring on Paterson or Gasmi? Changed my mind dont think he should do anything as we appear to be playing OK now Edited 29 November, 2008 by John B
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Blackpool losing so think we go above them on goal difference (or maybe not as GD the same as is goals scored, we have conceded more though)
Saint_clark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 What should JP do? Bring on Paterson? Gasmi.
Arizona Posted 29 November, 2008 Author Posted 29 November, 2008 Weds back ahead against Norwich. 3-2
