Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Away from home so the chances of a win are significantly bigger then with a home match. We really need to not lose this match, a win of course would be better but a point would at least keep Charlton 4 points behind us.
Charlie Wayman Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 I fancy a 1-1 today, both teams struggling and a miserably cold day when nobody will be up for it. Bring on the hot soup.
John B Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 I fancy a 1-1 today, both teams struggling and a miserably cold day when nobody will be up for it. Bring on the hot soup. YES 1 1 would be a good result
Saint Martini Posted 29 November, 2008 Author Posted 29 November, 2008 Are we the only three people actually interested in football??? Any teams news yet?
Under Weststand Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 I would take a draw right now but I've predicted 2-1 Saints. So lets hope were moving in the right direction at 5.0pm COYR
Edmonton Saint Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Saints unchanged again for 3rd match in a row..
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 I too would be happy with a draw. 5 points from 3 games is a good return and it would also stop Charlton stealing a march on us. That said, given our away form and the fact they are sh11yt3 at the moment, we really could get 3 points here. 1-0 to Saints.
NickG Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 win I think would give us minimum of 4 points clear of relegation zone - and would be 3 conseq away wins -does anyone know when we last did that?
NickG Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Saints unchanged again for 3rd match in a row.. yes -on radio said changes on bench -anyone heard who?
Under Weststand Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 yes -on radio said changes on bench -anyone heard who? Bart Wotton Pearce Gasmi Patterson On the Bench
Arizona Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 win i think would give us minimum of 4 points clear of relegation zone - and would be 3 conseq away wins -does anyone know when we last did that? 1992
NickG Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 1992 impressed! How did you find that out so quickly?
Arizona Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 impressed! How did you find that out so quickly? I know things.
um pahars Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Just noticed all three teams above us are away from home (although we can only overhaul two of them). Bad news is Watford are at home to Donny, so they have a good chance of overhauling us. But first things first, we need to win and then I presume the next best result for us would be for Watford to lose (or draw).
Leicestersaint Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 A draw looks possible but maybe we migth win away again.
Arizona Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 We beat Man City, Everton and West Ham (Although we lost at Norwich in the Cup in the middle of that). Don't know the scorers, but they were all 1-0 wins.
Edmonton Saint Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Wheres Will Cope gone on the saint? His replacment just said " We are in trouble here" then they went off air.. Mysterious
brightspark Posted 29 November, 2008 Posted 29 November, 2008 Its a big game as a 7 point gap from the bottom 3 would be really helpful for confidence. Though I would take a draw just to keep us out of the mess down there. Id be hugely dissappointed with a loss considering Charlton's form. COME ON!!!
