Again with Liverpool and Spurs also interested. Can we beat them again?!

Any Spanish football boffins know much about him? See he has 2 Spain caps so can't be bad.

Also in the Daily Star apparently.

I'll be honest, I've heard the name before but don't know much about him. Then again if he's being linked with clubs such as Liverpool and Spurs for £8m, he must be pretty decent.

And £8m for someone who is not a First team regular seems a Lot of money

i spose falcao would keep most strikers out the team to be fair.

Fair point and this has been offered as a reason for his inconsistency in Spain.

Apologies fro the thick question but how can we make offers for players outside of the transfer window, especially at a time when our PL status is not exactly 'nailed on'

You can agree a transfer outside the window. In fact a player can move outside the window.

it's just the window is the only period where players can be registered, and therefore play for their new team.

We didn't beat Liverpool or Spurs to the signing of Ramirez.

Liverpool's interest stopped when clueless Kenny left and Spurs refused his wage demands.

Also gossip though is that Norwich have agreed an 8.5m fee for Ricky Van Wolfswinkel. Now he is worth that kinda money.

IF he signs for them .. whats the betting he get called ....van Wolfwhistle ...when he has a bad game ?

Don't know anything about him but for that fee I would much rather we sign Van Wolfswinkel who is a top player.

I would much rather let the club decide, considering we all know hardly anything about him.

Poor goalscoring record or not - consider him an upgrade to De Ridder, and it makes the transfer seem that much better.

Can someone hurry up and pot his football manager stats and you tube montage Please. We're at post 24 FFS.

Eagle-eyed as ever, Mr. Turkish.

These are the people we need in our scouting departments - the likes of Mental Le Ill and the YouTubers. Why waste money on actually watching players in the flesh when we can have our boys from this forum doing it? They're fans of the club, and everyone that works for us should be.

Are we any closer to signing Lukas and Brian?

That's right MLG, they may scoff but I know for a fact Jose Mourinho spent the first 6 months at Chelsea trying in vain to sign Tonton Zola Moukoko.

He frigging ruled.

Also Kennedy Bakircioglou, Cherno Samba, Mike Duff, Radoslaw Kaluzny and Assane N'Diaye (a few of my favourites there).

Eric Dier? Slightly better than Fred Rank.

Eric Dier will be a very good player, but too young to risk any money. He needs at least a full season in the first-team. He also needs to settle in a position first as he's been used at CB, LB and CM.

From this Sporting team I would take the keeper, Portugal's no.1 Rui Patricio. Been more than just a lifeboat for the last 2.5 seasons. In fact both him and the sub keeper Marcelo would do well for us. But Boruc is looking better than ever so I'm not sure we need either of them.

Other than that, the team has already been badly raided in January so quite frankly not a lot more to take out. Maybe the usual LB Marcos Rojo, who has been in ascending form this season, and is now getting Argentina call-ups. Wingers Capel and Labyad are too unproven I'm afraid, and young Andre Carrillo is pretty much in the same situation as Dier, but mentally less stable.
