View From The Top Posted 21 March, 2013 Posted 21 March, 2013 Want to book a train as they are very cheap ATM but was wondering how long to get back from WHL to Euston? 20mins from WHL to SS and then 10mins on the Victoria?? Want to catch the 18.07. Doable??

Spurs is a fag to get out of on the tube at Seven Sisters. 20 minutes from final whistle to get on a tube is probably pushing it a bit. 6.07 is definitely doable though.
saints_is_the_south Posted 21 March, 2013 Posted 21 March, 2013 Just to warn you, this game will be moved to Sunday if Spurs progress to the Semi Finals of the Europa League. 2nd leg due to be played the Thursday before they play us.

Fair chance this will be picked for TV and moved to the Sunday anyway I reckon. Doubt we'll be save by then and Spurs will still be battling for top 4.

Doubt we'll be save by then and Spurs will still be battling for top 4. This is true too. I'm not too fussed what day it is. Hope they get through to the SF, will give us a better chance of getting something against them if they have to play a few day before hand.
ben05 Posted 22 March, 2013 Posted 22 March, 2013 Hope gets moved to Sunday cause I’m off out in Brighton Saturday night. Anyone know what the allocation is like?
oldsarum Posted 22 March, 2013 Posted 22 March, 2013 2,900 allocation according to this site http://www.footballgroundguide.com/tottenham_hotspur/
JRM Posted 22 March, 2013 Posted 22 March, 2013 Being a bank holiday weekend I won't mind if this one changes to the Sunday and it will help us if Spurs have a semi final game a few days later. (not that it helped us for the home game back in October ) think we are already down as a lower cat game for this being £35/£32 for adults which is much better than some of the crazy prices we've had this season.
saints_is_the_south Posted 22 March, 2013 Posted 22 March, 2013 Saints are category B. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/Tickets/ticket-prices.page? South Lower - £37, South Upper - £41
This Charming Man Posted 26 March, 2013 Posted 26 March, 2013 Sunday would be alright on this occasion. Silly Sunday in the smoke sounds good to me.
Appy Posted 26 March, 2013 Posted 26 March, 2013 Sunday would be alright on this occasion. Silly Sunday in the smoke sounds good to me. Then back to life.
saint_jas Posted 26 March, 2013 Posted 26 March, 2013 Wouldn't mind going to this, but reckon I will have zero chance in getting a ticket.
This Charming Man Posted 27 March, 2013 Posted 27 March, 2013 Then back to life. Hopefully not but never say never...!
ericb Posted 28 March, 2013 Posted 28 March, 2013 Would love to get a ticket to this one as i can see WHL from my flat! But not having been to any others this season i'd guess that's highly unlikely
saintchris23 Posted 28 March, 2013 Posted 28 March, 2013 Would love to get a ticket to this one as i can see WHL from my flat! But not having been to any others this season i'd guess that's highly unlikely As a cat c game, it's £295ea for a table of 10 in the Bill Nicholson Suite. Come and join us!
ludgershallsaint Posted 31 March, 2013 Posted 31 March, 2013 This one could be on the Monday as well. Still lots of variables this far out - Europa League, TV games not chosen for that weekend yet etc. etc.
Nexstar Posted 31 March, 2013 Posted 31 March, 2013 TV is a possibility, but there are a few other notable games scheduled for that weekend: Liverpool v Everton Man Utd v Chelsea QPR v Arsenal Norwich v Villa (Potentially) Although with up to 5 TV slots a weekend there is a fair chance we'll get picked.
ludgershallsaint Posted 1 April, 2013 Posted 1 April, 2013 First two are TV bankers. I read somewhere that Sky have 9 and ESPN 1 to pick over the last 3 weekends. The chance of it being on the Monday will go down if Chelsea beat Man U today as Spurs will need to fit in their game against them for a midweek at some stage.
Sour Mash Posted 3 April, 2013 Posted 3 April, 2013 Ticket details released http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/ticket-news-for-spurs-trip-751471.aspx
JRM Posted 4 April, 2013 Posted 4 April, 2013 looking forward to this one , we've always taken decent support to Spurs and I'm sure this will be a hot bank holiday weekend turn out. I can see it being similar to the end of season game 89/90 season with a 2-1 defeat. good memories that playing Arsenal away in the same week taking loads there as well. even if we are safe by then I hope the players are up for it , we still owe spurs for the cup replay debacle of 95. worth watching Spurs v Basle tonight , if spurs go through our game definitely won't be on the Saturday. I think it would work in our favour if spurs have a two leg Europa league semi final against Rubin Kazan just before we play them.
JRM Posted 4 April, 2013 Posted 4 April, 2013 have sky said when they'll be announcing the May live games ? must be soon surely ?

JRM Posted 4 April, 2013 Posted 4 April, 2013 If it's a 2 legged game against Chelsea though it won't affect them too much. that is true although they'll still be given a tough game. my spurs mate would like to draw Lazio to repay the warm welcome they were given in Rome earlier this season.
ben05 Posted 4 April, 2013 Posted 4 April, 2013 Not been before, what tier is best for view/atmosphere?
JRM Posted 4 April, 2013 Posted 4 April, 2013 Not been before, what tier is best for view/atmosphere? view = upper tier. atmosphere = lower tier.
Griffo Posted 4 April, 2013 Posted 4 April, 2013 I reckon the bottom tier will stand and upper will sit.
LGTL Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Tickets on sale this morning. Reckon these will go quickly, especially the lower tier.
saints_is_the_south Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Got mine online by 8 past 9. Unlike Arsenal it actually told you what position you were in the queue this time which was helpful.
JRM Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Sorted mine out as well. by the way, if you buy in the lower tier, then go back in online it still allows you to buy again in the upper tier it seems. as they have split it the system seems to think upper tier and lower tier are different games.

Yep. Also works when there is restricted view and normal view seating. Quite handy for sorting extra tickets.
Sour Mash Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Neither this, nor our game away at Sunderland are going to be moved for TV.
saints_is_the_south Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Neither this, nor our game away at Sunderland are going to be moved for TV. Will get moved if Spurs progress to EL semis however. Was fairly confident they would, not so sure now!
Sour Mash Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Will get moved if Spurs progress to EL semis however. Was fairly confident they would, not so sure now! Yes, I know. Hard to call tomorrow night's game.
lambertsrightleg Posted 10 April, 2013 Posted 10 April, 2013 Could only buy one ticket on my number. Opened two tabs and made two separate purchases to try and get two tickets. Both are showing up in my transaction history. Anybody know if this works?

BlakeySFC Posted 11 April, 2013 Posted 11 April, 2013 Never been to White Hart Lane, always wanted to go there looks like a quality stadium and now my 8 year wait will finally be over Hoping my seats are Upper Tier, they're meant to have a way better view than the Lower Tier seats.

Probably a better view, but i'd imagine most of the upper tier will be sat down.
Berkshire Saint Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 Probably a better view, but i'd imagine most of the upper tier will be sat down. I went for Upper Tier too. Why do you say that though? Upper stood for the whole game at Loftus Road this season and I imagine they did for Chelsea too (was in Lower for that one).
Barry the Badger Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 Got ours, lower tier. Gonna be a good day.
Sour Mash Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 I went for Upper Tier too. Why do you say that though? Upper stood for the whole game at Loftus Road this season and I imagine they did for Chelsea too (was in Lower for that one). Just the way some tiers are set up. QPR has a "big" upper tier and is in effect the away end, with a small lower tier added to it, rather than the other way around. Man City most of the upper tier sat I think, and was 50/50 in upper tier at Chelsea I believe.

Upper stood for the whole game at Loftus Road this season and I imagine they did for Chelsea too (was in Lower for that one). The upper tier at Spurs is extremely steep, id imagine it will be sat down. I opted for the the lower tier.
red&white56 Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 Any suggestions where to drink before the game, somewhere there might be some Saints fans I mean?
saints_is_the_south Posted 12 April, 2013 Posted 12 April, 2013 Any suggestions where to drink before the game, somewhere there might be some Saints fans I mean? Breakfast and beers around Liverpool Street, and then overground train to WHL. That's my plan.

Man City most of the upper tier sat I think, and was 50/50 in upper tier at Chelsea I believe. I was 50/50 between standing up and sitting down at QPR (was in the Upper Tier 3rd row and people were alternating between standing up and sitting down in the row behind), stood up the whole 90 minutes at Chelsea (pretty empty in the Upper Tier really) and Man City. Tickets were meant to be sent on Thursday, didn't get them yesterday so hoping I get them before I set off for Southampton later today. Edited 13 April, 2013 by BlakeySFC

Standing in the upper tier at QPR was no where near '50/50' was it?
