Morning all,

 

I've had an offer for a game against West Brom's fans team on the morning of the game against the Baggies next month. Likely venues are either Wide Lane or Fleming Park in Eastleigh. It'll probably be a fiver each to cover the pitch and a referee (any volunteers?), kit will be provided.

I may attempt to ignore my various ongoing complaints and pitch up.

 

I would also like to add that "fat bulb up front" is already taken. ;)

 

There is always room for someone that has played semi professional football in a fans team.

So we have to be fit for this? Play 5 aside weekly at flemming park, but there is a big difference between a small indoor run around with some office blokes and a massive 11 aside pitch ;)

I'm now 40, with a knackered knee and shoulder and haven't even played 5-a-side for a month, so I don't think you have much to worry about. Having said that, the first yard is in my head. And that's where it's staying. :D

I'm now back from my tour of Italy, San Marino, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Croatia :o

 

I'll try to collate everything together later today, if those who are interested but haven't stated their positions and/or rough playing ability/fitness levels (those that I don't know, at least ;) ) could do so, that would be very helpful. :toppa:

Position: Number 10

Preferred shirt number: 3

Playing Ability: Low-World Class (there's a lot of variation)

Playing Style: Bale/Ibrahimovic

Fitness Level: 6 months ago, superb - currently, awful.

Likelihood of turning up: Unknown

 

I'm sure you won't find too many discrepancies in the above.
