Foy makes me want to vomit. Rose's handball inside the box was far more blatant than the penalty he gave against Fox ar Newcastle.

In all the years I've been watching football, the current crop of crap is the direst collection of officials I've ever seen.

Martin O'Neil Urban Myth unravelling.

Did nothing at Leicester.

I could be successful at Celtic.

Zillions to spend at Villa.

Just glad he didn't buy that house in Winchester. ;)

And so the mongboard rewriting of history begins.

If a referees decision in a game you are watching as a neutral gets you that upset maybe Soccerball isn't the sport for you?

A good result for us there. Sunderland looked absolutely shocking there, fans on their back too. I can see them being dragged in considering their upcoming fixtures too. Now just need wins for Newcastle, Chelsea and Spurs and its a good day for us.

Agree. We can certainly put some breathing space between us and them over the next month. Although visa versa, us having Chelsea and reading away we could also get dragged back into it. We need to concentrate on ourselves over the next few weeks but Newcastle winning today will give us a massive hand. I see Reading and QPR as down now.

Good thread, until the previous three posts were added.

Get over yourself you plank. People making out Martin O'Neill has a crap management record, making up Adam Johnsons wages and claiming they are going to vomit due to a referees decision is pathetic.

Sunderland have a hideous run and we have to play them. Can't see us not finishing above them. They could do a Birmingham and go down due having a rubbish manager.

Wouldn't say he was rubbish by any means. I rate O'Neill but agree he should be doing better at Sunderland.

He has that affect on every thread he contaminates.

Yup, unfortunately. And 'Block' only works when people don't quote him, halfway there though.

And you two are such great posters, one vomits at referees decisions in games he watches as a neutral and other makes things up and claims his own posts are brilliant to prove his worth to the forum.

Yawn, same old boring rubbish Turkish, people making comments about the thread topic, you as usual just berating people, if you've got noting to say about 'today's games' maybe go to another thread. You don't need to reply to every comment that you don't agree with and none of those comments were particularly controversial. Johnson is Sunderland's highest earner and record transfer, O'Neill's managerial career is hardly that good and the referee was very poor in that game and has form for it.

Sunderland were rubbish there, an hour against 10 men, not one clear cut chance created and probably should have lost considering Holt had a one v one and Norwich should have had a penalty. Norwich probably safe now, they are a bit dour but very solid defensively.

Come on Newcastle now, team with a poor away record against a team with the worst home record in the country.

Think he was out of the game too long before coming to Sunderland - game moved on since he was at Leicester and the false comforts of the SPL.

Sunderland are in reality in the type of form people claimed Norwich and West Ham were in three weeks ago. 2 points from 6 games and with Man United, Chelsea, Newcastle and Everton up next. They won't go down but I can see them nervously looking or their shoulder over the coming weeks.

With Sunderland I think he has been relatively rubbish. They are such a dreadfully boring team to watch. So glad we don't play like them.

Odd really considering the supposed talent they have. I rate a lot of their players...Johnson, Sessegnon, McLean, Fletcher, Rose, shouldn't be in a relegation scrap IMO. Sunderland must be one of the prems highest spenders in the last 4 or 5 years if you don't count the top top teams. (I don't actually know that's just a guess!) seem to remember they played quite a lot of good stuff last season but that doesn't seem to be there this year.

Was looking hopeful! Don't think Bale will be back out. Let me know if he is.. decided to watch the Wigan v Newcastle game instead. Come on Pardew :)

bale's still on, they've took off dawson tho, i think the manager realised playing vertonghan in midfield weren't such a tactical masterstroke after all.
