Saint Garrett Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Sunderland Vs Norwich Spurs Vs Fulham Chelsea Vs West Ham Wigan Vs Newcastle Let's hope that Chelsea and Newcastle can do us a favour today. Wouldn't be against Norwich winning either...
Chewy Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 I think everyone from 10th is still in the mix so would happily see wins for Chelsea and spurs and two draws. Biggest wish is that Wigan don't win.
ToreSF Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Sunderland Vs Norwich - Draw Spurs Vs Fulham - Home win Chelsea Vs West Ham - Home win Wigan Vs Newcastle - Away win
Saint Charlie Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Norwich win best IMO. Sunderland next four after today are very tough.
Saint Garrett Posted 17 March, 2013 Author Posted 17 March, 2013 Sunderland looking very poor so far. I really thought they'd push on under Martin O'Neill but it hasn't quite happened.
Olallana Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Sunderland looking very poor so far. I really thought they'd push on under Martin O'Neill but it hasn't quite happened. Midfield is really crap. Some half decent players but just isn´t doing a shi*e
Saint Garrett Posted 17 March, 2013 Author Posted 17 March, 2013 Norwich keeper sent off...looked harsh.
Trader Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Martin O'Neil Urban Myth unravelling. Did nothing at Leicester. I could be successful at Celtic. Zillions to spend at Villa. Just glad he didn't buy that house in Winchester.

Just glad he didn't buy that house in Winchester. Dinosaur playing 80:s type of football. Worked in Scotland due to the bad quality in that league and a superior team.
Jimmy_D Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Keeper was unlucky, but stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity with his arm outside the box. Ref had no choice with him having his arms out like that.
shurlock Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Dinosaur playing 80:s type of football. Worked in Scotland due to the bad quality in that league and a superior team. Just because he's witty, loquacious and sharp-tongued, people think he's a genius. That said, mugs on here think facility with the English language is the be it and end all of football management.
MOSaint Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 If Sunderland don't turn this around they should be worried.

Jimmy_D Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Norwich getting dragged into the relegation battle then...
Appy Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Norwich have done their best to let Sunderland back into this.
Olallana Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 ffs Sunderland are lucky. Blindsman misses the offside and dont make the call for handball until they are waving for it....
ToreSF Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Norwich are struggling. Think Sunderland will win this.
Jimmy_D Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 This is going to be a long game to watch for Norwich...
tajjuk Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Some generous refereeing for Sunderland, hopefully Norwich can hold on.
Berkshire Saint Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Martin O'Neil Urban Myth unravelling. Did nothing at Leicester. I could be successful at Celtic. Zillions to spend at Villa. Just glad he didn't buy that house in Winchester. To say he 'did nothing' at Leicester is harsh. Top them up and established them fairly solidly in the Prem for a while. No Leicester manager has managed that since! Is it me or do Sunderland get a lot of penalties?

Appy Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Some generous refereeing for Sunderland, hopefully Norwich can hold on. Not really. Both decisions correct.
Olallana Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Not really. Both decisions correct. Except the player in offside position forcing Bassong to make a move for the ball
James Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Chris Foy loves to give a questionable hand ball. Such a home team ref its untrue
Appy Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Except the player in offside position forcing Bassong to make a move for the ball But it was handball no?
CB Fry Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Martin O'Neil Urban Myth unravelling. Did nothing at Leicester. I could be successful at Celtic. Zillions to spend at Villa. Just glad he didn't buy that house in Winchester. Clearly didn't "do nothing" at Leicester. Let's see if MP can get anywhere near what MON did.
shurlock Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Chris Foy loves to give a questionable hand ball. Such a home team ref its untrue I feel sorry for Chris Hoy.
ToreSF Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Not really. Both decisions correct. Think the first decision is doubtable. When it comes to the penalty I think it's a wrong decision, as it's not an intentional handball IMO.
Olallana Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 But it was handball no? Yes it definitely was IMO. But not a penalty cause of the offside IMO.
shurlock Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Yes it definitely was IMO. But not a penalty cause of the offside IMO. Sending off was correct; the pen was v.harsh (should have been ruled offside).
Saint Garrett Posted 17 March, 2013 Author Posted 17 March, 2013 Personally think both decisions are harsh, but can also see it from the ref's perspective and why he gave what he did.
Saint Garrett Posted 17 March, 2013 Author Posted 17 March, 2013 Adam Johnson has really not progressed as a player as much as he should have done. Was superb at Boro, seems to have gone backwards
Tractor_Saint Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 The ball came down far too quickly for it to have just been the keepers chest. In both incidents had the players had their hands behind their backs / out of the way then it makes the refs decisions very easy
tajjuk Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 well that's a penalty, Norwich not getting fair refereeing here.
Tractor_Saint Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Definitely a handball by Sunderland inside the box! How can that be given as a free kick ffs?
Olallana Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 referee puts the ball for the freekick ON the line even. The line belongs to the box!!
Trader Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 Why people compare Grant Holt to Rickie is totally beyond me.
Tractor_Saint Posted 17 March, 2013 Posted 17 March, 2013 They say the tele makes you look fatter than you are. Flippen eck, I thought I was watching the Walking with Dinosaurs when Holt made that run.
