Never has 3 points been more needed nor deserved.

Looking at the table and studying the bottom and it is such good news we won today for a good few reasons,

1) We are now 7 points clear.

2) We kept and enhanced our advantage.

3) We rode our luck at points but played well and fully deserved the victory.

4) I live in Liverpool and am going to love this woo hoo!

If we lost we would of been 4th bottom with Wigan having two games in hand over us so if they won we could of been in big big trouble, the biggest win of the season and I am so happy.

WELL DONE SAINTS.

A bore draw between Sunderland and Norwich will be a great result for us tomorrow. Keep Norwich in sight although conceding 15th to Sunderland.

And hopefully Newcastle see their chance to secure the contract to be able to focus on Europa League for them....

You think the change of manager may pay off in the long term Baz?

I dont know as I cant understand him and I am not being sarcastic, its difficult to gauge a man and his attributes if you cant understand him, this is the main reason why I think Capello was employed as the England coach as the media and fans wouldn't give him such a hard time and he can bounce off criticisms by the press by pretending not to understand or simply wave a discussion through his interpretor.

If he learns English then it will be easier to see how the man actually is but then again this could be a very deliberate ploy.

The message is obviously getting through to the players, they seem to know the style we play and their jobs, isn't that the most important thing? Not afraid to sub a big player for a hard worker either. I like him.

To be honest is he not under pressure to play Ramirez, its obvious or to me that at half when our backs were against the wall he brought on Davis, that says a lot as our backs with our players were alwys going to be against the wall this season.

think you've got it here pal.

I said a while back I think the language thing is played up to give him some breathing space with regards the media. I know it irks some fans, but personally I'm happy to go about our business quietly.

he can get his message across to the players, as could be suggested from the Everton game when he was talking to Rickie on the touchline. really, that's the most important thing.

well, in my opinion at least.
